Which 3 songs helped you though your early teenage years?

Hitting puberty is not easy, school steps up and gets real, parents turn from a (hopefully) nurturing security to fall back on to a force to rebel against with the new freedoms you're taking and the initial phase of the process of moving out.
Many kids turn in part to Music for solace, songs in part end up taking a rolemodelling influence in the process of achieving an identity as an adult to be.
If you had them, name and link 3 songs that, in retrospect, have been a support to you in those years and which, again in retrospect, have helped you shape your adult personality, by augmenting emerging traits in your personality.
Link us up, and if the lyrics cant be readily understood, link us up. If you dare, provide us with a bit of analysis what it meant to you.
Heres three of mine to kick this off:
First off, an obvious appeal to my need for a father figure (my parents had divorced) and fortification of my strongly developed moral system:
Manowar - Defender
Secondly, a comforting ballad that speaks for itself:
Twisted Sister - I Believe In You
Finally, another ballad by the same underrated band allowing to vent some sentimentality about the trials and tribulations I was going though:
Twisted Sister - The Price
Now, its my understanding that the 90s and 2000s were mostly shit musicwise for young teens to grow up in, in terms of comforting wholesome music and that the 80s with their mature rock n roll really were the shit.
Prove me wrong.

Here's some that I would just listen to over and over again. I have a very wide taste in music.
Eminem - Beautiful
Staind - Outside
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man
--------------------
Don't stop 'till the music does.

I am just going to go with what helped me get through my late teens because I went through a stupid emo/scene kid phase in my early teens which resulted in a shitty, shallow music taste.
Eyedea & Abilities - The Dive Parts 1 & 2
Modest Mouse - Night on the Sun
Kimya Dawson - Rocks with Holes

Tupac...
I was into rap back in my teens. He was really the only positive rapper and good skill wise in my opinion. I hate rap now but ill still nod my head to a tupac song.
My twenties are all about 60s psychedelic rock and the recently discovered pagan folk genre by OMNIA and Faun which is beautiful acoustic music with a modern twist.

Best Of You - Foo Fighters
I love the Foo. Man they're great. It made me happy to hear they are in the Hall Of Fame! Anyways, Mr. Grohl makes quite the point here, that we tend to look at the brighter side of the people we love than for seeing them for who they truly are. With Best Of You, my life was unmasked. This is THE song.
The Dark Side Of The Moon - Pink Floyd
I'm calling this one song because it was intended that way. It's not the message that involves me, but rather the way it makes me feel. With Dark Side, I am Zen. To me, Dark Side is pure audio magic. It also helped sink me in to the world of creating music, and that's one thing that has shaped my world more than anything.
Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd
This one is self explanatory almost. It helped me see that being yourself is a good, and being all you can be is God.
Castles Made Of Sand - Jim H
I can't pick three, sorry. Castles Made Of Sand is beautiful, but even the most beautiful mountains never last. Life, is carpe diem.

Cool thread! Here's mine:
1.) Blind Melon - Change (+ everything else they wrote)
2.) Alice in Chains - Nutshell
3.) Bob Marley - Redemption Song
Music is what got me through and made me feel connected to the outside world. There's so many songs but these three really stand out as ones that I listened to and played over and over in order to cushon myself from the cold hard world.

Papa Roach - Last Resort
Korn - Thoughtless
Linkin Park - In The End

(k, no seriously, i don't think i needed any songs to help me through my childhood, or maybe i needed all the songs, anyway; so i can't really narrow it down to any specifics. Slipknot never really help me with any repressed anger... Mr. Bungle never really helped me deal with stress... Tool never helped-- wait... TOOL)
Tool - Lateralus
Tool - Parabola
and Tool - Aenima
Tool helped me rebel in my teenage years, a bit, i guess. it helped me OPEN MY MIND MAN.

Metallica- Escape
Linkin Park- Breaking the habit
Korn- Got the life
I was a huge linkin park fan in my early teen years then was a huge metallica fan in my late-ish teen years, then went more to bands like korn and system of a down and such.

actually, shit, i forgot about Rage Against the Machine
they kinda helped me realize and understand why everything was so fucked politically, in the world.
so i guess me list should be more like
RATM: Wake Up
Tool: Lateralus
and Mr. Bungle: Air-Conditioned Nightmare (they helped me realize how much i loved music and how "weird music could be")
the lyrics^ to this song ring too true, and always did.
(as goes for the other songs, so yeah, i think i've finally got it... these are my most helpful songs in my early teen youth. btw cool thread Wiccan.)

Ahhh I just can't pick 3, its physically impossible. Seeing some great tunes already, especially love seeing Best of you by the foo's , thats quite the emotional song, gives me goosebumps, and really hardened me when I was growing up. I would love to see the foo fighters. But, uhm, let me make an attempt at this.
1. All About U - Really is a special one to me, part of my rap days and this song really does shine!
2. I really got to add some blink, let me think. (actually +44, but same old) This is actually from early teens. I was still in public school.
3 Thinking some more, trying to find one really special to me. Thinking about adding swing life away by rise against, but its to simple. Ahh screw it il add it anyway
and number 4 because I added Swing life away haha
4- Tell me Baby by the Chilli peppers
This is pretty vague, just some awesome tracks from highschool really does bring me back thinking about them. I listened to so much more, but I had to add 4 . The grateful dead is rocking my music world now and im trying to suck a ton out of them.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE! Shorty
