for the past 8 months I had my mind set on an all american pc. I was gonna bid for one on ebay, but I just didn't want to wait any longer so i bid on a presto 23 quart and won it.
So, do you own a presto? How's it been for you? I paid $67 bucks for it. In the end I didn't really save that much, but a little is better than nothing. It's in nice condition, and I think it'll serve my needs adequately.
I guess I made this post cuz I was kind of disappointed in myself for not holdin out for an all american after all this time, and thought those w/ a presto pc could cheer up by tellin me how nice their pc is....
thanks

well, it came in the mail today...and it's huge!!!!!!!!!! Much bigger than I pictured it. I tested it out and it works beautifully. I'm very excited and no longer disappointed that I didn't get an all american. This will serve me quite well and when I"m done w/ it i'll just turn around and resell it!!! ...to one of you fools

I have one of these... Friend got it for me at a local "scrapper" store (you know the guys that buy/sell anything they think someone may perhaps one day want) for five bones. Needed a new regulator, but for you can order them online for another five bones... Can't say I'm disappointed =)

Presto makes a damn nice cooker. I used one around that size the very first time I grew cubies back in 1977. Worked like a charm.
I have an All American now, and it is a thing of beauty, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with a Presto. Enjoy it.
