First Time, WBS/Coco

Hi folks, this is my first time cultivating. I've done a bit of reading and figured I'd make a post so people could give me a little feedback, some good ole fashioned flaming, and all that good stuff.. Tell me if I have this right or if you would omit/add anything?
I am doing WBS Tek, in Quart Jars. I am attempting to inoculate 5 Quart Jars. I plan to use 3 in my fruiting tub (18 gal clear plastic tote with white lid, 80% coco/20% verm), 1 to inoculate more jars for a second tub, and I figure to either lose 1 or use it with the other 3 in the tub.
Tonight I rinsed my bird seed well in hot water, for about 20 mins. I then put it in a pot to sit overnight.
Tomorrow I will heat the seed on the stove and drain, PC jars, and leave them to cool until the next day in a clean, sanitary box with a lid.
The next morning when they have fully cooled, I will be inoculating all 5 jars (I can do up to 12), shaking the shit out of them, and putting them in the incubation area (a black plastic bag, over top of my fridge).
When they are ready for Fruiting, I will break them up and distribute 3 to 4 Quart jars into my tub. Then I mix well, cover with a layer of coco/verm, and wrap the tub up in a black plastic bag for a few days until it starts pinning.
Then I give it some 23w 6500k cfl and watch the magic?
How full should the 18gal tub be with the casing material? About 4/5 inches?
Then I drill holes 1 1/2 inch above the casing level around the tub every 6 inches? 1 and 1/4 inch in diameter.
Thanks ahead of time for your time and sharing your knowledge with a new head! I love links and references to reading material.

you are on the right track, but seemed to go a little off base when you got to the substrate depth and placement of holes for FAE. these following two Teks by Frank will line you out perfectly on substrate depth, FAE, pasteurization, and fruiting for success.
Frank's Bulk Spawning Tek
How to dial in your monotubs like a boss
if you have the time or the inclination to read through all of Frank's Teks nearly every question most any new grower will have, at some point or another will be answered.
Cheers! and good Luck!

Just place them on top of your fridge without the bag. You want the mycelium to get light though out the cultivation process. Also you want to make sure the quart jars have a small hole covered by polyfill or a synthetic filter disk for gas exchange. Putting your jars in bags will reduce the gas exchange. When you spawn your grain to the tub it will take longer than a few days to colonize and pin.

Thanks for the input and links guys! I will actually take time to read those and thanks a lot for taking the time to share them with me.
The jars do have a lid in the center. I have polyfill for the hole and for the holes in my fruiting tub. Thanks for the advice about getting light throughout.
