I have casing and it gave me 8 mushies and now nothing. It's been that way for about a week. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanx a million ;-)

What's up bro, first of all couple questions:
1. What type of substrate did you inoculate? (the stuff in the jars that you injected with spores) 2. What substrate did you use for the casing layer? (vermiculite+peat moss, vermiculite+coco coir, etc.) 3. What did you use to case the substrate in? (pie tins, plastic containers, bowls, etc.) 4. What did you put the casing in to provide humidity, fresh air exchange (FAE), and light?
Pictures would also help out if you have any. Answer the questions and provide as much info as you can and I'll do my best to help you out.

make sure it's getting evaporation and time it so it comes on once your sub starts to dry up from your mist, i'd look into a shotgun fruiting chamber if you can

it's just luck of the draw for the most part, i do alot of work with this variety of cube including the"gwm" and they tend to grow very solitary very slow have veils that tare away from the stipe and not the cap and are shitty printers for the most part

Honestly broski, I believe your problem is the aquarium. I have done the same thing and no matter how many time I misted and fanned the son of a gun it wouldn't fruit for shit. The FAE in an aquarium is negligible, and I even tried drilling holes in my glass aquarium to no avail. I would suggest a SGFC big enough to hold your casing.

He's right on that my friend, please don't get suckered in with all of their ridiculously cheap prices and stupid deals. Take a look at the sponsors websites for spores.
But like I said, a glass aquarium is a no-go unless you put some bubble wands under the perlite/water.

thats not a bad thing at all, i often advise people to do exactly that after there first flush, let the sub dry up a bit for a week then dunk and proceed, shitake farmers have been doing this for years. it gives the sub a rest and gives better future flushes
