I would never do such a thing, I love dry buds, but I think orange peels in the bag is a common method, or damp papaer towel in an enclosed space.

Why would you want to, it'll burn better dry

Orange peels make it taste like ass if you leave them in there too long. And too dry of weed is more chokey.

It turns to shake easily, but then again you're right, it does burn well

Put a bit of lettuce into whatever container holds your bud. Make sure to take it out after a day maximum unless you want a chance of getting moldy weed.

Perhaps if you steam them they will become slightly humid again?

Is someone willing to potentially sacrifice a bud to test this out?

Mix with some dried gojiberries and dried mango.. wont do too much with the dryness, but it will give a nice aroma..

I feel like steaming it would just make it nasty for some reason

i have the best way possible to do this. ok first off anyone who puts food stuff (carrots, lettuce, apples, ect) in the bag is introducing more than just moisture into the bud and it will cause mold to grow faster. ive used my method for years and it works great for pot you plan on smoking within the next week or so. here are 2 different methods:

1. find a spray bottle that sprays a very fine mist. i found some at a dollar store in the woman's bath products section. or any bottle that has an adjustable nozzle will work great. hold up your biggest nugs and give them 1 or 2 sprays from a distance of about 6-9 inches away and wave the buds around in the mist in the air. i put mine in a regular sandwich bag loosely rolled up after that for a few hours. its very easy to over moisten it this way so make sure you test with one mist first and give it a few hours to fluff up.

2. this a little more controlled of a way but it takes longer. take a piece of either toilet paper or paper towel (not tissues because they usually have lotions and shit on them.) ball up a piece half the size of a dime  and get it wet (it should be that big after wet, btw this is for lets say a couple grams. bigger ball for more bud.) make sure its not dripping wet, squeeze it a lil bit first. put it either in a bag with the bud or for quicker moistening put it in a mason jar with the buds. should be good after sitting overnight.

after you do this, put your buds in the freezer to keep them fresh longer.

just a side note if your doing this to mass amounts of pot to make it weigh more to sell it without people knowing you moistened it, your a douche. the pot you sell them will be moldy within a week or so.

i teach my friends how to do this themselves.

edit: if you use the second method, wash your damn hand first. that ball is going to soak up your dirty hand scum if you dont.

you know ive never looked into this much, but i have talked to some professional med growers and they always say freeze em to make them last longer.

a trick ive learned though is if you do freeze buds, let them thaw after they come out of the freezer before you open the bag or jar because you'll notice there is a shit ton of moisture on the inside of the container that will go back into the buds. keeps the smell nice and stinky and the buds nice.

just go to a headshop and buy one of those things they sell to keep tobacco fresh.

its usually just a sponge inside of a piece of plastic that has holes in it. you dip it in water and put it in with your bud.
