Expressive body language

I'm wondering how many of ya'll are like hella expressive when you talk to people? Like using your hands and all sorts of gestures to try and explain the information you're trying to get across
I've noticed i've been doing this more and more lately, like sometimes using my whole body and arms when I'm talking in like a very loose abstract manner along with all sorts of faces. I feel like I do it the most when I'm tripping and it kind of sticks for a while after
What say you?

Not much. I usually assume an indistinct form that doesn't reveal any expression. I will say something & it will appear to resemble something that has had all of the expressive features removed from it.

This for me too. Seems like it happens more when I feel loopy/absent-minded, too. Be it from drinking or talking about something I'm excited about.
I don't mind it, and I usually don't mind other people doing it. And when I mind it, it's usually someone talking way too loud, so nothing to do with their hand-talking

I'm pretty bad for that. Especially if I'm trying to explain one of my trips.

I always pay attention to the body language of people I'm talking to; people tell lies but their body language doesn't
Actually I do my best to avoid talking to people (particularly people I just met) through texting or over Facebook chat because of the lack of body language present

I think I am quite expressive with things like that...I notice myself using my body to try to convey my thoughts, sometimes more than I use words when I get stuck on a thought that I can't put into words . I'll find my self struggling to find the right words, and notice my hands/arms/body moving around trying to say what I want. At times I seem to naturally want to use movements/motions to convey things more than words.
My thoughts usually initially consist of images, abstractions, and they often have movement, texture, & flow to them. So my body, arms, hands, facial expressions (etc.) usually reflect my thoughts in their raw form, before I translate my thoughts into words/verbal language.

I can totally relate to that . I too become a bit more expressive with my thoughts as movements when tripping, most specifically with LSD, more expressive in general. And notice a bit more quirky-ness related to that sticking around for a bit after a trip.

What I'm talking about, and what I'm assuming sheekle is talking about, is different from social cues that would be picked up from body language. I'm specifically referring to expressing my thoughts and what ever I'm talking about as movements of the body. Which wouldn't really have any social cues embedded in them.
Social cues, which often go over my head (but I've learned to read & pick up on better over the years), those would be more like body language & particular "cues" that are constantly & subconsciously conveyed and put out from everyone regardless if they're talking or not .
If that makes any sense?....

This is a particularly interesting and well thought out response and I'd like to thank you for gracing this thread with it

The week after a satisfying trip, my entire life is drastically more enthusiastic.
So yeah, i probably unknowingly use a lot of body language after a solid dose.
As others have noted though, im pretty ignorant when it comes to social cues.
call it asbergers, or whatever, its life.
