When is first flush over? Should i re-dunk now?

Hey everyone, so i fruited my brf cakes 9 days ago and over the past few days ive been harvesting mature fruits. I planned on dunking and rolling after flushes, and im pretty sure these cakes i harvested are finished with their first flush, as there were obvious mature fruits but also some small pins. My other dilema is that I actually am not positive which cakes i fruited... I have 24 of them going so im pretty sure, but not postive. Do I wait for these pins to mature? or do i dunk now? When a "flush" is over will there be no pins at all? I guess my question is, would it hurt to dunk cakes that ive harvested mature fruits off of even though there are a few pins here and there still on the cake? Will it hurt to dunk a cake that is pinning? This is my first time growing so im not sure

It will not hurt a cake or pins to dunk with them on as long as you dont have mature fruits you can goahead and dunk your pins are most likely for the second flush anyways. Dunk away

After countless times with cakes this is my definitive answer.
1) You first dunk the cake 24 hours 2) Proceed to roll in verm 3) Place into fruiting chamber
FIRST FLUSH HAS STARTED.
4) Wait for a few fruits to mature and the veil cap to break 5) Once the veil cap has broke, harvest ALL the fruits 6) Do a look over for aborts, completely clean cake
FIRST FLUSH HAS ENDED.
7) Redunk for 24 hours 8) Place back in fruiting chamber
SECOND FLUSH HAS BEGAN
9) Repeat from step 4
I hope this helped

cakes don't know the meaning of flush, sometimes you will constantly have fruits on your cake, pins are fine to dunk actually great

thanks, i actually ended up dunking a few cakes with no pin/ some very small pins that havent fruited yet in addition to the ones that i have harvested. figured it would help.
also, ive noticed you pretty much have some input for every question ive asked along the way of my first grow, so thanks alot man!

Actually this is true. Following the guide I've written, over time you will experiment. I forgot I had a cake or two with some REALLY nice knots... but they never pinned. So after a week or 2 I just tossed them back in there for a dunk, and simply reset the whole process back to step 1 (skip the rolling in verm part).
Some people get invitro shrooms, and still proceed to dunk. I've noticed how much slack the cakes can give you over the time I've used them.
