Bad cactus?
    #19301684 - 12/20/13 07:18 AM (10 years, 1 month ago)

Cactus chunks sat in a large pot of water covered with tin foil at room temp for approximately 48hrs, should I throw it away?

I did two 4 hour pulls on a few feet off pedro, after the last pull I accidently left the pot of chunks and water in a kitchen cabinet, it smelled a lil strong when i took off the foil but the tea/chunky soup still looks fine

I'd think you're probably OK as long as you make sure to simmer it for a little bit

Yeah totally fine. I think our culture is afraid to eat food that has been sitting out when in reality it keeps for much longer than we'd expect.
