hey im not sure if this is the right place to post this.. (im new ) so ive tripped twice before and im planning to again for the third time in the next 2 or 3 days. the last times i did them i knew they were completely safe because they were from a trusted friend whod grown them in his home. this time a different friend who im not very close to got them from some unkown source who i dont know at all and im just a little nervous that they may not be completely safe. i heard somewhere if you eat the wrong type of mushroom you can die. i know i probably sound very parnoid but i just want to be 100% sure that what ill be putting in my body is safe, so is there anyway to know if the shrooms i have are safe/legit? a trick of somesort? i also have photo here but its bad quality and may be hardto tell:
thanks let me know

Your pic does not show... Chances are if there are some bruising and they have that distinctive smell it should be good... But post a pic....

Post your thread here. Do not eat those mushrooms until a trusted identifier has okayed it. They will have a little badge under their name that says trusted identifier.

The picture is indeed very bad, but you do have cultivated Psilocybe cubensis (yes, I am a TI ).
Btw, here is the picture, since not everyone will be able to find it.

Not sure about international laws and availability, but if you're feeling cautious (which is good in this situation).... why not order some truffles or even a grow kit?
At least then you can be 100% sure about what you are about to consume.
