The most economical cacti?

Good evening, I'm looking at some cactus to plant in my mind garden, and I was wondering... what's the biggest bang for your buck? I understand that bridgesii yields impressive results, but it also seems to be a bit on the expensive side. Is it worth it?

Also, does it matter if it's cut from the top or middle? Does this affect the potency? If so, by how much?
EDIT: Fuck it, 2 ft of bridgesii cactus, one for me, one for my best friend. Better to have a sure thing than a "maybe" thing, I suppose. Wow, I feel like an impatient spammer.

Cactus growing on a scale that even allows personal use, seems to be somewhat difficult unless you live out west

that's the spirit brother. the more the merrier right? No dollar amount will ever equate to the life changing experience from eating my first foot of Bridgesii (actually it was tea and it was still warm)!
But thankfully I was able to get a great deal on some cuts. Enjoi.

Growing cactus for a hobby is fun San Pedro might be the easiest.... In my opinion
All depends where you live...

Yeah San pedros are thriving and growing by themselves as cuttings in my closet. I will never buy any more. Bridgesii would usually rot in those conditions, but because they're bomb they're out in the cold Ohio night in my trunk..that way they become super bomb. Point is San Pedro survives much more easily than bridgesii. But I've heard that if healthy, bridgesii grow as fast or faster than Pedro

From tons of research I"d say bridgesi it"s usually more consistent and potent and San Pedro in the U.S. is apparently shit
