did u innoc all jars at same time with same amount of spores? maybe it has something to do with the difference in consolidation time btw jars?
this cake took 3.5 weeks just to do this after outside was 100% in jar, plus extra week in consolidation before fruiting

same cake 2nd flush (sry spotty pic)

so in the time it took the cake to fruit those 2 shrooms, its had gotten a better handle on the middle of the cake and produced a better 2nd flush.
maybe those 2 jars were not consolidated for long enough, depending on how tight they were packed. were they home made? i think a week of consolidation is general recommendation for pf tek, but these days, if i do attempt cakes for shits and giggles or testing an iso, i leave in jar till i see knots, then dunk, roll, put in fc. the extra time i feel is worth it.

its pretty hard and weighs 98.1g( not sure if thats too heavy)
i innoc'd all jars at the same time with the same amount of spores in the same incubation box. this is what this cake in the previous pics looked like when i decided to dunk it...

this is the same cake at innoc..

this is how my first cake's jar looked when first innoc...
i thought it was bad because of the spotting and cloudyness and almost threw them out, decided to keep it and in the end it colonized the fasted and fruited the largest fruits ive had yet.
this is my second cake after innoc...
which also had a good 1st and decent 2nd flush...

i was advised from an old friend that grew a long time ago and was foggy on the best methods. should there be no tin foil covering the top of the jars during incubation?

No it comes off after u sterilize, leaving it on can lead to your verm barrier getting damp
