With 52 weeks a year, you're making either 52k or 104k.
Big difference.
52k is twice as much as ive ever been able to make in my life... and all i do is work and work and work...
tell ur kids to get good grades and stay out of trouble. tell them to go to school for IT or engineering (stay out of the fucking environment unless u want to sell ur soul to the devil). if you can co-sign loans get them to go to medical school. otherwise, just keep it patched up til they get old enough to go out on their own. nintendo/xbox and a warm house goes a long way when u don't care about getting laid, traveling or doing drugs.

If you really need the money, or if you have debts/mortgage to pay off then definately.
I would do it for a while. A person can put up with anything if the know there will be an end to it.

I used to work in a corporate office working late hours and I wasn't able to make it home until after my kid was already asleep 5 days out of the week. I really wish I had been able to spend more time with her but now I'm self employed so that's no longer an issue. Is there absolutely no way they can be more flexible with those work hours? Perhaps if you worked there for a short while they might be able to budge a little?
the only flexibility they will do is if your in school.
Well, what a coincidence. You just became a part time student.

For that many hours you should be selfemployed.

Self-employment is a lot more achievable if you have some start-up capital though. I'd say do it for a few months and save up some money, while keeping an eye out for less demanding work. Seems like a poor strategy on the employer's part to hire only people who will work such a crazy schedule though.
