I'm afraid that my old golden retriever with cancer will sit by my side wondering what's wrong for days until someone finds me. I keep picturing that image of my dog just laying down and trying to figure out what to do next to my decomposing body.
I'm afraid of so much more than just that..but I can't stop picturing that in my head, and for some reason it always makes me tear up thinking about it.

Your dog would eat you man its an animal.
what did you think your dog would do

no.....dogs are loyal. Mine is an 11 year old golden retriever, apparently there's been informal studies about stuff like this.

your cat will eat you.
eventually your dog might eat you.

if you're there for 3 or so days rotting, your dog is going to stay with your body. (if it's really your dog...you have to understand my parents got me this dog for christmas when I was 11 and now I'm 22 and moved out and he's still my dog and still chill in).

It doesn't help that I recently read this article

http://nypost.com/2014/08/03/a-million-ways-to-die-in-new-york-medical-examiners-days-of-gory/

and the last paragraph says :
"And she has a final warning for New Yorkers who live alone with cats: The urban legend is true. “Your faithful golden retriever might sit next to your dead body for days, starving, but the tabby won’t,” she writes. “Your pet cat will eat you right away, with no qualms at all. I’ve seen the result.”"

It's not death that scares me.
I have been to that place before and so have you, if you really cease to exist with your body's death then you've already experienced nonexistence for the several billion years it's taken for the universe to shit out your current state of being.

It's the fact that it's so sudden and random and that life is so inconsequential. When I think of my parents passing I think of me older, with a husband, and the ability to somehow deal with it..but what if my mom went tomorrow? What if I went tomorrow, and they'd have to go through my room and look through all the journal entries. I've written a lot about bad things that have happened to me that make me sad, and it's thing I've never been able to share with my parents, I just picture them having to go through all the things i would wish that I got the chance to tell them.

It's still a day away from a suicide anniversary for me, i just feel weird right now.

Im not a troll man...
You don't think a dog would eat you after you have died and it got hungry.
They are animals

I had my reasons for that dog..it wasn't mine it was my mums dog arrrgh it had health issues...

Hows it different putting your dog down then getting a vet to do it or shooting a horse with a broken leg.

I really hope i don't get banned so stop mentioning the dog incident...how did you know anyway where you reading the other thread where another hippy was attacking me about it???

First off, yes you are a TROLL.

Second, I'm not a hippie.

Three, You can say what you want, but im a very understanding person, but however,  i will NEVER understand why you think it was "Humane" to *DROWN* THE DOG.
YOU said it your self, you dunked the poor animals head until it was lifeless, you really think that was humane?
Shooting the dog in the head or something quicker and less painful would have been more "humane" there is no excuse for what you did, You say you would never do that to your own dog but yet you did it to a different dog

Its ACTU irrelevant rather it was your moms dog , your dog, or just a random stray dog, WHAT YOU DID IS SICK AND WRONG.

So stop trying to justify what you CANNOT justify. By the way, i read your crappy ratings and was laughing right when i seen the story of the dog and everything you said.

So i took the liberty of leaving you a little rating . You make me sick
To my stomach you fowl human of earth.

P.S You are still wrong about Dogs eating their dead owners, its not very likely, unless you mistreated the dog, much like the way YOU do,  your animals WOULD eat you because your a heartless cold empty person and even a dog is more worthy of life than you.

Alright man, well I'm sorry for being a dick, but it just really upset me when i seen the posts you made.:nodofunderstanding:
I joined this site to increase knowledge and to share information with others. I joined to document my mushroom hunts and identification skills and to further expand that knowledge.
I have no wish to argue, I'm not perfect either, i have done things im not proud of, I'm sure deep down inside you DO regret what you did, i know i regret the BAD things i did in my past.
Maybe i shouldn't be so hard on you, but you need to follow rules and think about shit before you post it, and more people will like you.
This forum is The Pub,and is not only exclusive to phychadellic discussion. If you only wanted to talk about Phychadellics , then why are you here on this forum anyways?

Your argument is still invalid, i don't doubt the fact your dog us attached to you, but it seems to me you have the maturity level of a average 14 year old and have MUCH to learn about animals and nature and most importantly your self.
  Good luck

I never really knew fear until I had a family.
Killing me wouldn't be that much of a loss, aside from the pain of course which would suck. But the loss of someone I really loved with all my heart would be devastating, I image.
