Quick question. What do you guys use to label your jars?

Hey guys quick question/problem
I need something that's PC-able, since i often get confused at what formulas i put in each jar after I pc them :/ Also I have a bit too many jars of the same species with different mixtures so its tough to remember
What do you guys use to identify and label your jars? A marker? Label? What kind?
Thanks in advanced!

Sharpie right on the glass.
I tried labels at one point and gave up on them after the first try. They are a mess and a hassle to use.
Ive been playing with plastic recently though. The method so far is to just stack all of my jars in one spot with a tag on the shelf as to what they are.

When it comes time to scrub it off. And SOS scrubbie will wipe it right off.

I've had sharpie partially come off due to condensation and am thinking of switching to grease pencil.

But the jar is sterile after the PC. Its not until after PC'ing that we usually need to label them. Unless Im missing something.
Incidentally though, the Sharpie will stay on the glass through a PC run. It may fade a bit, but it does stay on.

i ususally don't, unless I'm using glass plates or jars, which isn't very often. then a metal scouring pad works.

I tried the grease pencils but wasn't a huge fan so i went back to sharpies. Isopropyl removes it so when you do your transfers it comes right off. sometimes it is on there a bit but not enough to confuse it with any freshly written stuff.

I've had no real issues with sharpies myself. If it fades a bit you can touch it up. I use a regular scrubbing sponge and it usually comes off just fine.

I use masking tape and pen. Usually don't have problems with it coming off. I put it on after PC'ing, of course. I previously used scotch tape but that is more of a hassle to remove.
