Container quality affects mycelium growth?

So 6 weeks ago I started the growing process of the shroomies. I got 4 jars, 3 of them are 80% done and 1 just didn't grow at all. I expected it to grow faster since I did everything right and this is contained inside a glass fish tank with 3 garbage bags over it ( I put the garbage bags over it to protect it from any bacteria from trying to creep in my jars). One week ago, I made about 7 jars and they all are growing fine and very fast. These are in a cheap plastic storage container wrapped with 2 garbage bags. Does the glass not allow to any heat in to the container? Or could it possibly be that I put too many garbage bags over it? Has anyone ever had this problem? Thanks

uhm they need free air exchange
bacteria are microscopic if they get in then there was nothing you could do
putting garbage bags over them is just dumb

you might have put in a lower amount of LC in the jar while inoculating it. You could have packed down the substrate too much. There are many possibilities.

Take your jars out of any container, set them on a shelf or somewhere out in the open, room temp is fine.
Jars need air, and the benefit from 12 hours of indirect light a day.

They need air/gas exchange... otherwise they will stall.

Sorry, I'll take it to the cultivation thread next time. I'm new to shroomery so I didn't know, my apologizes. Interesting though, didn't think that air exchange was even possible especially if they are still in jars with the holes covered with aluminum. Thanks for the tips guys.

If you've got a dry verm barrier, you should take the foil off of the lids, too
