Etymological mystery with social implications

The word "cum", which is really just a misspelling of "come". For clarity: Come and Cum will be used to show distinction between the two words.
I was bored and wondered how a word like that becomes common accepted language. Turns out there are a bunch of different theories, but what I found interesting is that other languages use a variation of their version of Come to also mean Cum. If it is that pervasive across so many languages it makes me wonder how old the homonym is. I could understand it coming into popularity through pornographic writings, but it predates that.
Like was there a traveling linguist banging people all over the world and exclaiming "I'm about to cum!" in their native language and having it catch on like that? Or do you think it is the inverse of that? Like the origin of the homonym had a lot of sluts that were asked "why did you say you were coming when you are obviously right here?" and then explained it and then the two words were connected in the new language that way and spread much like an STD does.
Sorry, wrote this on my phone, so my point might not be clear enough.

It's because we are built to think in simple metaphors that get extrapolated out and built up like legos. One of the most basic metaphors we use is that changing states is the same as changing locations.
Quoting Steven Pinker here, "A state is conceived as a location in space of possible states, and change is equated with moving from one location to another in that state-space."
So orgasm is thought of as a place that we reach, arrive at, or come to. We do this all the time when we say things like She has a great future ahead of her or He went from sick to well. The fact that it happens across cultures tells you that it's a basic feature of human cognition.
