stealthy trich, hiding behind jar ring, imposible to spot from outside PICS

hi guys, I was birthing this batch of cakes to crumble as a spawn and when I opened jar #11 , my jaw almost hit the floor, the green monster was growing in a way it couldn't be spotted from outside, growing as shallow slice between the verm layer and the top of the cake
this jars have been sitting for fucking FOUR WEEKS, can anyone explain this? because as far as I know trich will take over a cake pretty quick
unless this is another type of green mold that is less aggressive, I hope my bulk grow is not in jeopardy because I opened that trich spore bomb in my kitchen with the rest of the cakes birthed right there, fuck my luck
anyone has gone through a similar experience with stealthy trich hiding in cakes? the other 12 cakes were clean btw
below pics of the offending cake
half the cake is clean but the other half has a thin slice of contam when the mycelium meets the verm

what is this?

it happens...probably trichoderma, it would be best to just toss that cake.
colonized cakes are fairly contam resistant, wouldn't worry about it too much.

it happens because of two things... your syringe had tich spores in it.. or you were too impatient and checked on ur jars too much and the verm layer got displaced..
toss the jar.

I have had trich on cakes before, if my inoculate/needle was contamed, trich would have overrun the cake around the end of the first week after inoculation, the other option is not either because I stopped checking these jars 2 weeks ago when they reached full colonization
and why the trich hasn't take over the cake? Its been sitting there for 4 weeks
sorry but this doesn't add up

well colonized sub is almost contam resistant and that myc has alot of vigor and could fight off contams to claim its nutrients... your thinking if the mold had already started growing in your syringe... im saying if there were mold spores in there that took longer then the myc to colonize.

when there is mold spores in a syringe, the contam has a very distinctive pattern showing up first in and around the inoculation points, this is not the case, so no, it looks like the contam came through the verm layer but again I haven't really handled this batch much

no inoculation point is lower on my cakes, once trich spores are in it will take the mycelium 5/7 days to turn green and start sporulating
