Yes after the mycelium has finished colonizing its substrate you must tell it to switch growing modes, from colonizing to fruiting. Change the conditions of the environment to the ones mushies like for fruiting and you should have pins in no time.

If it is fully colonize it can fruit. The mushrooms grow off of mycelium.

You need to check your pinning parameters, this sounds like a case of low air exchange and/or low humidity. I also suggest a dunk n' verm roll if its been a month since full colonization your cakes may be dried out from waiting too long... do your cakes look thirsty? Goodluck  :mushroom2:

I went through the same exact shit with my very first grow, brown rice except I didn't use verm.. My cakes were 100% for probably 2MONTHS! After making sure of correct parameters(rh,temp.,light, air) I got brave and threw a casing on there and within a week i had beautiful little guys everywhere. It's not much but i hope it helps.
