That egg hatching looks absolutely disgusting.

Is the short purple one a Cort or Blewit?

I will confess something that should be quite obvious, CC.  I love mushrooms, i.e. fungi.  I really do.  I am talking about a strong feeling, i.e. emotion, for them.  I think they are beautiful.  I even dream of them.

I bet that big white Amanita is A. mutabilis. The small ones underneath the Cortinarius are probably the same. Do you still have them? See if you can smash the bulb and note whether there is any pink staining. Those are really funky Pan. paps! They look very different than what I am used to.

Do you do this?
That's a lot of mushrooms to manage.

I save the ones that I photograph well, I just brought over 300 bags of mushrooms back from Mexico.

Do you worry about being hassled by border security? I thought bringing (fungi?), flora or fauna over border is a no no.
I mean if you had 300 bags of Psilocybe and they knew about it we'd never see you again.

I know i read that last night Alan and i was thinking of like this huge warehouse full of dried mushrooms... and then there gets to be so many that we just dont have enough room on earth to store them all. That is when we find species on mars in like 3 years.:tongue2:
