at max dose this happens,
over the max does this happens.
this can happen on no dose if you are emotional or concentrating for a while, or it can happen on a light dose if you are emotional or concentrating.
emotion and concentration also produce the layering or trails of thought and sensation.
amnesia, passing out and blackout are aspects of the same thing.
I thought 3 months off was a decent break.
I have been going through some tough stuff lately. I blacked out a few weeks ago when I was out with my wife at a bar on a date. I've blacked out sober before also during difficult times. ThAnks for the good info. I will look into it.

You black out without any drugs in your system? Have you considered visiting a neurologist? Your symptoms would have me worried. Just sayin.

I've seen one, he said its common for super genius's like me. ...
It was 13 yrs ago when that happened sober. Just had a physical and all checks out great.
I really thought more people would have said they can relate.

Happened to my buddy twice one evening on a pretty hefty dose of shrooms. I saw him stumble while standing right beside the bon fire (we were camping back woods). I asked if he was alright and he said no. I asked him to step away from the fire and BAM, down he went like a brick. He was out for about 30 seconds. Scared the shit outta me. He got up, brushed himself off and said he was fine. About 20 minutes later it happened again--this time he was out considerably longer and he went stiff. Shit got crazy, contemplating how to get the guy outta the woods in the middle of the night. He has never passed out before and has no history of epilepsy. He said he could feel his blood pressure bottom out just prior to hitting the ground. I'm actually kind of afraid to trip with him again. We are really good, long time tripping buddies :-(

That would be a difficult situation, espically under the influence. And scary.
When he went stiff, the second time, did he shake at all or were his muscles just really tight?

It was a 6 or 7g trip. We were in the come down--but not completely down yet. When he went stiff he did not shake. You could see his jaw clenched tightly and all the muscles in his neck straining. I rolled him over into the rescue position and it was difficult to do so because of how stiff he was. All I could think was 'wow, this is a fucked up situation'. We were a 4 hour canoe paddle from civilization. No cell phone reception! We both have a lot of experience back woods camping, but something like that is difficult to plan for.

Not a problem I had the exact same issue and the people who responded in that thread were very helpful and knowledgeable. I always make sure I've eaten a balanced meal before tripping now.

Nice, very interesting thread. At OP, if you're going to eat a full meal and beforehand you definitely want to do tea. Start with small doses though as if you're used to eating them the tea will hit you harder and stronger so you don't want to undo all the good you've done with eating beforehand by taking too strong a dose. Report back and tell us your results, I'm interested in seeing how this pans out for you.
