Use them to graft. They should work well for that.

i was actually talking about that with my landlord earlier. i have 3 bridgessi seedlings ( well they are like 6 inches now but skinny) and one isnt growing too much anymore so i was planning on grafting that one and hoping it would grow faster

Man I have so much respect for you cacti identifiers. How you can notice such small details to make an identification through a picture is beyond me. I guess it helps when you know what to look for, I need to keep studying/reading up

I've been addicted to cacti for a few years now,and I still will never know any of their names. Now you throw some fruit, vegetable,or flowers at me,and it's a whole other story

I believe even in miami the light hours and temps are probably lower than what is optimum. My indoor grafts are even slowed and i am in a pretty warm climate myself. Not that i want to stop you from experimenting with grafting, but its just the time of year. I have my indoor grafts with heating pad and a little supplementary light and its still a bit slower than i want.
