Today's been a strange one.
    #19285387 - 12/16/13 06:41 PM (10 years, 2 months ago)

I guess it kinda started last Friday when it was my works Christmas party.
I brought my girlfriend Lilith to the party, and apparently someone objected to the two of us kissing.
At the start of the day HR had this stupid talk about how boundaries were crossed at the party.
Then at the very end of it all she was like "Sara can I talk with you in my office please?"
So I sat through another stupid lecturee but when I was leaving the room my dad was walking by. (He is the owner)

Him and I got talking, which is usually a terrible terrible thing but after the shit from HR I was in the mood for it.
He asked me what I had planned for the day and I told him that I planned on checking outsome gun stores after work and his eyes instantly light up.
He said that the two of us should go together right then, which I'd normally be reluctant to but like I said fuck HR.
So we left and went and got some lunch together, it was a little awkward at first but actually became quite enjoyable.
We talked about the business with HR and he said it was rediculous and not to worry.

After that we went to this store that he knows the owner of to look for guns.
And I was really happy with what we found, the two hand guns I was looking for.
A first generation 9mm P99 which was the one I wanted because I really like the green which only 1st gen has.
And a  second is a Ruger LC380, and holy hell is this thing tiny:eek:

After that we went to a shooting range and he rented a gun for me and he really helped me learn a lot of the basics.
We ended up staying there a few hours and had some very unexpected bonding time.
It was just all increadably surreal, something I wouldn't have expected to happen in 1000 years.

After we were done there he said I could just have to rest of the day to myself which I was more than ok with.
So then Lily and I went on a hike together to go find the perfect place to smoke some DMT.
And during the hike we found this really cute hippy couple and we ended up smoking them up some too.
It was just a really serene time , I didn't blast off but I already have enough so I didn't mind.
:bliss:

SARA you should have bought a 44 mag Anaconda or a 1911 45 browning Dad would have made you COO or CFO at the very least. Cause then he would know you meant BUSINESS . :manofapproval:

Your father owns the company?  I don't think you have any worries.  I don't know what kind of kissing you did.  A peck is nothing.  Tonsil hockey would be an issue.

@r00
damn it, why hadn't I thought of that then!

@Zappa
It was just a short kiss on the lips, nothing more, I'm not too worried.
The thing I found so crappy about that whole thing was that there were "straight" couples kissing all over.
Except it's not an issue until we kiss.
I guess it's really to be expected...

Then you should be pissed.  Your dad owns the company.  The complainants should have more to be concerned about and so should the HR person.

the lcp is a good gun only thing about  is it has no slide lock back function after the last shot fired.other than that I like it.you will need lots of practice as tiny pocket pistols in larger calibers(large caliber for tiny frame)have a lot of snap to them and very unaccurate even up close if youre not proficicent in one

Yes the recoil has been somewhat of a concern of mine.
But after today I feel better about it, I feel like I have a better idea what to expect.
Arm strength from years of climbing seemed to come in handy.

Yeah recoil with a ~9mm caliber is nothing.  My sister has a Ruger LC9 and loves it.

Personally I would be wicked pissed about the dickheads you have to work with.  And especially since they work for your dad.

Unnecessary bro.

9mm with certain ammunition capable of inducing hydrostatic shock is more than enough to neutralize creepers from the Pub.

Plus, there are a lot of creepers in the Pub, and 9mm can hold more cartridges.  :themoreyouknow:

I bought a gen4 glock 22 which has either 12 or 13 .40 cal mag. Got three of them included in purchase for 500 during the first month of release.

In hindsight, id rather a physical safety but still awesome none the less. Satisfied for now.

Wish I had more chill friends like you Sara but then again school and lack of cash has me strapped Down for fun :frown:.

Plan on movin out to colly when I graduate If plans go accordingly!

Awesome you had a good time with the father.

maybe so but big rounds make big holes. My personal preference is a 12 gauge slug followed up with 000 buck.

Why not the Saiga 12?  I've wanted one for years.

12 guage ammo is easier to find where I am.
