Sterile printing gone wrong....

Well I tried to make my first prints just now. Read up on some teks. I wore gloves and wiped with iso. Wiped down my tools. Used an SAB wiped down with soapy water.
So I took a thumb tack and stuck it in the cap, and with my other hand cut right below the cap so there wasn't much stem. Immediately the cap fell off the tack... I tried again on another cap and failed. I gave up on that and just grabbed with my clean gloves for the last two. Is this method fine? The tack idea is not working. I put all four in to print anyways. Think they will be fine? This is quite upsetting. I'm not sure how important or difficult it is to get clean prints. Would these be fine to make a syringe out of?
Also if they iso isn't completely evaporated off the gloves is this bad?
Any other methods to be sterile doing this would be appreciated...
Thanks.

try using a toothpick next time. It's roughness gives it grip.
One of the reasons to learn agar is agar allows you to clean up a culture before putting it to grains or cakes.

Your prints aren't gonna be 100% clean anyway. I personally wouldn't use them without agar first.

Alright I guess I will break down and get a PC...
Doesn't seem like contams could live on a piece of sealed foil for long though. Is this thought correct?
I was hoping to be able to continue just doing MS for a while. As I haven't worked in damn near a month.

Hmm yes this is a good idea. I will definitely do this next time. The pin idea definitely did not work well. Maybe my caps were just too small or not very dense, but not doing that again...
Thanks guys. Much appreciated.
