Why doesnt everyone move to Colorado?

the most bad ass state in the country. pot is legal, mushrooms and L are plentiful and potent, and oxy is always rearing its ugly head. really good molly and sass as well not to mention half the state is covered in gigantic mountains that get pounded with snow. a good, snowy winter makes for a summer with raging rivers that are amazing for kayaking. best. place. ever. Steamboat and Aspen are sick ass mountain towns. wooks all around. i get smoked up everyday. i cant remember the last time i bought a sac, Grade AA++ gold shelf buds. cheap as hell you get an eighth of 20%+ thc ganja for 30 dollars, even less if you buy more than a quarter. lucy is always slutting around for free. Red rocks ampitheatre is the most gorgeous venue in the nation (as stated by THE Jerry Garcia). The only state with real bad ass mountain towns. You have Crested Butte, Gunnison, Telluride, Aspen, Glenwood Springs, Steamboat Springs, Breckenridge, and Vail to name a few. The east side of the mountains brings you Denver, Boulder, and Fort Collins. All three are unique and sick as fuck. Everyone is laid back and down to earth, except in Boulder; Boulder can be lame cause all the rich, egotistical, superficial trustafarians from Cali that go to CU kind of ruin it. But all of Boulder's pros weigh out the cons by far. why doesnt everyone move here? it doesnt make sense to me why would someone want to live anywhere else. Hell, even the weather is awesome.

I'm trying to find a SAR or agriculture Americorps position in Colorado but they don't seem to have much happening on that front. Might move there anyway, I've wanted to since I visited as a kid.

Not really, man. You cant rely on a dealer like you can a dispensary. a dispensary will come through 100% of the time and you have a bunch of choices, from flowers to hash, edibles, and drinkables(?). its guaranteed to be good as well. and you have a wiiiiide variety of choices. 50+ strains in most dispensaries, "Would you like a sativa, indica, or hybrid sir?" and there are even a few 24 hours shops. and there is no Colorado elitism within the state, that would be silly. only when Coloradans leave the state is when we wanna show off. and its not really showing off, it is more of educating people on how awesome this place is so they can one day come here. COME TO THE 303 (denver/boulder area code) or the 970 (Ft. Collins, High Rockies area code). Sonic Bloom is a music festival in the mtns. with lots of jamtronic stuff. not for me but lots of people enjoy it. Campout for the Cause is another festival in Statebridge in the mtns. waaaay dope. jam, hypnotic, psychedelic rock at this one. plus the venue is right next to the Colorado River so you can kayak or paddleboard from the camp sites to the venue. theres too many amazing things about this state. the best? the fact that there are only small pockets of population, with 95% of the states population being in Denver metro area. quite. beautiful. come here asap

My friend that grew up in Colorado said all they used to do when he was a kid was huff gas and ride around on goats. I can do that shit in Jersey. Legal weed is cool, but marijuana's legal status doesn't deter me using it here. If they had legal ketamine and LSD I would consider it.

hey bud i got an idea. go to college. apply out here and get loans. even if you got a GED there are some schools that will accept you. CU boulder is a good choice, but kinda tough to get accepted if your outta stater (3.5 GPA), CSU in Fort Collins. Fort Collins has the most laid back and down to earth locals out of any town in the state. Western State University in Gunnison. You would have a bad ass ski resort 15 min away from you. Or Colorado Mountain College. This is one of the best. Youll get accepted as long as you graduated high school. They have campuses in Aspen, Vail, Breckenridge, Steamboat, Dillon, and Glenwood Springs. Best of all? 15 credits costs 1500$, 3k for a whole year of schooling. it will be a little more cause you out of state. anyway, COME TO COLORADO

Wyoming gets overlooked and is underrated. Everyone in Colorado talks about how bad it sucks and how boring it is and i hear alot of bad things about Wyoming. But two things people tend to forget 1. Yellowstone National Park: epic. best park in the whole country, possibly on the continent 2. Jackson Hole: the most epic ski resort in the world. hands down. ive been to alot and that is the most epic fucking resort in the world. best terrain. best snow. most snow. awesome views. AWESOME views. this place makes every resort in Colorado look like a hill.

I moved to CO just because I had some friends move here. I didn't know anything about it and had never heard anything about denver.
its fine but not the most exciting place. Its cool that the people are nice but i don't care about micro craft beers or mountains or exercise so i dunno, the appeal isn't huge.

Mountains are cool to check out, not interested in living in them (or at the foot of them). Don't give a fuck about weed being legal. I already live in a state that has winter, don't see much point in moving to another one unless it was for a very select few cities, of which Denver is not one. I also don't really like the idea of living with a bunch of "expats". I spent a day in Denver on my way back from Coachella and almost everyone I ran into and chatted with was not from Colorado. I have a few friends who do or have lived there and they all say that's pretty typical.
I'm sure it's cool, and for a while Denver was on the list of cities I want to check out, but I dunno. It just doesn't seem as appealing as other places to me.
