Yes!

Look for the area where they dump the stable waste (wood shavings, straw, horse manure). That will be the best area to find Panaeolus subbalteatus.

It's a bit cold up here for subbs but almost perfect for libs. They will be in the fields not the barn shavings.
Good luck and report back.

Ther eis a large one in Tumwater near the airport. Paul Stamets and I have picked there for hyears. Roadkill and I and joshua and Pleezer all went there last year, we found no subs but did find Panaeolus separatus, Pshinctrinus and campanulatus in quantities.

How3ever my friend from Mycot found a few at his compost mixing site wher e he produces his edible shroom composts

The spring is the best time for the panaelus toi apear at rifding stables. The one in Tumwater houses about 60 to 80 horses there on and odff. it was closed up for several yearss and reopened two years ago.
Anywaon int he area can find it. There are also stables inthe Auburn Kent area. but that does not necessarily mean there are shrooms there.

They are moee of a spring Feb through May during the first rains the largest amounts fruit. Angry Shrooms patch was the most magnificent one I have seen in twnety years . Photos can be found under p. subbalteatus at my site at :

http://www.mushroomjohn.com/species.htm

have a shroomy day. He and joshua and Mitchnast are the only ones who have found and posted large shroomings of thi8s species at this site in five years out of a few million people looking so they are not as common as one might think. LK has found a foew and I think maybe GGreatOne234 may have found a few in a pile of manure, very rare.
On Maui one field had manured Subbs but that is all now Hawaii homes under their chartered land grants and the pasture was removed for homes.

A problem her eint he PNW with pasturelands becoming one story non-poluting boing offices soouth of southcenter mall ain Tukwilla which extends now allt he way almost to Kent and Auburn. This region use to supply the fertilizers which produced over 8-0 percent of all new lawns with blue ringers.

The composts went to evrgreen tree service and to Sawdust supply on Harbor Island o now down the stereet since the rebuiding of the West Seattle Bridge,.

Another large landscapping firm was Bassett and Western in Woodinville which used a product called fertile soil. It to produced massive blue ringer patches in sid. and also Panaeolus subbs in soil with woodchips of alder laid above the soil.
