I have essentially flunked out of college.
I have no job, no money, and my parents are kicking me out of the house.
I want to move somewhere new and start a life for myself, but really have no idea how to go about getting that started.
I am 19 years old and I desperatley seek the advice of those of you who are older than me and have successfully dealt with similar situations, so any input would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers and thanks in advance

A job waiting tables would probably be a good idea. Jobs with tips are one of the easiest ways to support yourself when you just move out. I supported myself by delivering pizza when I was 19.

My professor first year said a quote I'll never forget.
If you fail a course first semester, you retake it in the second semester. If you fail it again, you retake it in the summer. If you fail it a third time, you pick garbage off the floor.
Try your hardest to get a second shot at college, even if it means begging your parents and promising them you'll change. Reassess your study habits, set new ones, and succeed next year. Look into whether or not you have ADHD, people are often shocked when they realize how much their attention deficit is impeding them from reaching their true potential. Some concerta and ritalin here and there won't hurt your study sessions.
If you don't go back, you'll have to live the hard life. Who knows, you might hit it off and get big, but more likely you'll be stuck with a dead end job and a nasty manager who breathes down your throat.
Good luck man, take this situation seriously!

So OP you are 19 years old and your parents are kicking you out. That pretty much means they gave up on you.
The question is why?
What can you do to make them change your mind about you?

Assuming you have made good friends at college, do not leave. You will not find a cheaper place to live. You need to find a job there and try to save. Go sign up to your local gym if you're going to couch serf so you can shower, or just use the campus facilities if your ID still works. Your life is about to get shitty, the fastest way to fix it is to get some income.
I have been in a very similar situation. And there really no is no easy way out of this. Besides selling dope anyway, and that can be complicated when you don't have a home. Go live with some one you know, and SPEND ALL FUCKING DAY EVERY DAY looking for a job. Your life is going to have to get thrifty real quick......
Good Luck OP

It doesn't necessarily mean that at all. It may mean that they are not rescuers and enablers, which is a good thing. Being an enabler to somebody can easily be a sign of giving up on them.

I was in a similar situation (except I didn't flunk college I just didn't see it helping me), I sold all my shit and started walking. I traversed all of the US (didn't have the balls to go outside the US.) I highly recommend it.
I'm going to do it again soon, except this time I'm going to the southern Tip of Chile zig zagging all over central and south america. You'll never have a better sense of "god" than whilst traveling alone with nothing. You discover, you're not alone at all. (Unless you're some retard that avoids people...that shit'll get you killed.)

Good family relations = better chance at life
Bad family relations = High risk of criminality.
I don't really see how they can be enablers if they live with and love their son.

OP you would be very surprised at how much you can make delivering pizzas out of a good privately owned shop. My first year I made 37,000 in cash which equals out to about 50 k on a check. You could do it for 5 or 6 months till you get back on your feet.

No, its not that simple. Criminality? You act as though thats a bad thing...
If they loved their son they wouldn't hobble him by having him live at home as an adult. That is verging on enabling. The enabler cant understand how saying "no" is the best thing for somebody so they constantly rescue their loved one and enable their loved one to stay on the same path to nowhere.
Im not saying this the OP's case. I dont know him at all. But it does happen, particularly with families where substance use and abuse goes on.

I'm in a very similar situation actually. I'd recommend asking a friend to stay with them until you can start working (or however you make money) and get back on your feet. Did any of your friends drop out? Maybe they would be interested in splitting rent in an apartment.

Best of luck to you!

First piece of advice: don't take advice from people on drug forums who are probably mostly lazy stoners.
Second piece of advice: Start selling drugs.
Third piece of advice: Before following second piece of advice, refer once again to the first piece of advice.

Sounds like your first priority is getting a job and housing. Get both ASAP.
Once that is done take a breath and regroup. It sounds like college isn't for you. You might be interested in some of the trades (e.g. plumber, electrician, etc.). Start to develop a plan.

Don't feel like your life is ruined as a result of this. In reality, your life is just beginning. Everything happens the way it is supposed to. It's your great opportunity to figure out what YOU want to do with your life instead of thinking about what society, your parents, or anyone else wants you to do.
What are your dreams? What would you love to do if you could do anything? Where have you always dreamed of living? Now's the time to chase them dreams down. You may need a little monetary help along the way. Find a job, save up some money.

Patch things up with your parents while filling out applications to jobs. Part time, full time, either one is going to give you more of a shot than fending for yourself with no money. Tell your parents how you are looking for work and promise them a new and improved you

define "failing out of college". did you have a shitty semester and your parents are pulling the plug or did you actually get expelled from school due to your grades?

You can always look to stealth van living as a way to live on the cheap and buy up free time (for studying or just saving or whatever). In any case I guess you want to get a job asap.

You will meet a lot of connections in college. It is ten times easier to do this in school than in real life.

Forget about college for a while. Not forever, you will NEED to go back. But wait untill you are 21-22 and are a bit more mature. When you are fail out of college they don't kick you out forever, you can re-apply in a couple of years when you have your shit together. You'll be able to take schooln' much more seriously then, I am sure of it.
In the meantime start applying to jobs everywhere. It doesn't matter what kind of job you end up with, and it will likely be a shitty one, like washing dishes or custodial work or delivering pizzas, or laboring somewhere. If you can score two jobs that would be great.
I don't know what you can do about the housing situation if you're being kicked out of your parents' house. It's hard enough to fnd an affordable apartment, and its even harder to get into one if you are unemployed. Hopefully you have friends that can put you up untill you can get on your feet.
If friends do put you up don't abuse their hospitality, find a job ASAP even if it is a horrible demeaning one. You can always look for a better job while you are working an aweful one. And seriously lay off the drugs and stop partying. Your life is obviously a mess right now. Drugs and partying are expensive activities, and they are distractions. It is also easier to find work when you are clean, a lot of stupid jobs out there drug test.
If you are really desperate and at a loss for what to do you could always join the military. Thats what I did, I hated nearly every minute of it, but I don't regret it. They will get your shit straightened up in short order. If you go that route I recommend joining the Air Force or the Navy.

Find a job with tips like bussing tables or delivering pizzas or valet parking. Couch surf with friends until you save up enough for your own place.
