So these are jars i had lying around that got contaminated.

The pint size jars are from a non-sponsor... out of 24, at least 12 contaminated... Goes to show.
This is one of them that i had saran wrapped. It was one i made myself. Second from the left.

Funky Mold.
any idea what any of this is? Got photos of each individual jar, posting later tonight.

Starting from left: Jar One, Pint, From NON-SPONSOR!!!!!(TET)
Jar two is up top with the mold spores on the lid.
So, i guess i should have had a place card when taking these photos to be able to differentiate... Oh well, Enjoy. They are thought start on the right and go left.

Again, the master photo. I think of it as the of contamination. Everything had blacks, browns, purples, greens, and i could have sworn blue.

Please share any knowledge you have on anything you know that i pictured. I would like to learn more about what i had and where it comes from, and how to prevent it spreading throughout my house.
And Thanks again now,

Just out of curiosity, did you have to add inoculation holes to those after receiving those? And if so how did you do it? I'm assuming you meant pre-sterilized substrate jars.

They were shipped 6 jars inside a vacuum bag, with clear packing tape over the holes. One jar didn't have a complete seal of tape, it had a wrinkle in it, and turned trich green before I opened the vacuum bag.

Open air incubator! Aka a shelf. In a room.
I've read that incubators are kinda sorta maybe outdated...
Am I wrong in thinking that? My apt is kept at around 75. Thank God I don't pay heat

I like outdated and as long as it works, classic is good. If you use an enclosed incubator, it can even help you reduce contamination risks. The idea is reducing air flow near the jars as good as possible.
