Hey all, I just noticed there was a contamn section so figured I would post here. Sorry for posting in the cultivation section first. Anyways I am 3 days away from birthing and I noticed a cpl of my jars have a single red looking spot at the bottom of the jar. It looks kinda like rust? What do ya guys reckon this is?

Hello friend(s),
I think got a similar problem, if not the same. This is my first time, and I'm very much contemplating throwing away all my 5 jar, almost to fully colonised.
On top of the mycelium and around the sides of the jar, I see small amber droplets. No signs of any other colourations on the jars, just the droplets.
@ DarkPassenger: Can you share the material you found on the metabolites?
@ Some other very kind people : Any help is appreciated.
I'm posting the pictures from 2 jars.

Yeah I had this a few times when i once had a wood lover psilocybe
It shouldn't be a bacteria colony since its so translucent and non-viscous, it also doesnt smell as well
lol maybe its fungal waste all routed to a particular spot and released there?

Metabolites i would say, as long as they are in small quantities its normal.

Well, I think I lost it.

Close to the center, on the upper half, there are dark-green coloured mycillium. Mold right?
1.5 weeks since I placed it for fruiting, and not one pin. I tried I little arduino setup to control humidity, lighting, and temperature. Think the temperature part, that failed miserably, actually contributed to the contamination.
As per why it didn't pin, I think it was the FAE. I been fanning 2-3 times a day, but only placed holes in the lid.
Humidity was working fine. I'm using Perlite, and an ultrasonic humidifier in an ice cream box. The humidifier goes on for 6 minutes, if the humidity gets bellow 87%. It only got turned on 3 or 4 time since I placed for fruiting.
As for lighting, I put together 20 5mm white leds, on the lid.
I appreciate any comments. For my next try, I'll just try a monotub. Thing is, the temperature where I'm at is quite high, and during the day time I'm easily getting 86-90 F (30-32 C) inside the box.
