normal door knobs are extremely simple. If it was a cassete knob those are a bit tricky and you're off the hook
its 4 screws to change a door handle..... if he cant screw 4 screws in, he needs to back to grade 5 shop
Less.... most are 2 sex bolts and a set screw.... lol
sex bolts?
most are cheap handle sets that require no more than a couple of screws

Dude, it doesn't even have a fucking lock. It's just a twister deal. We have to lock the door by bolting it from above. I couldn't fix it and my wife fixed it in less than a minute. We couldn't get in. If it weren't for I probably would have had to sleep in the bushes.

Did you grow up with a strong father figure? I don't mean to be sexist, but most of what I know about fixing things came from my father sharing his knowledge and experience. The rest came from curiosity on my part and a ingrained desire to 'fit in' among other males. Some how, masculinity is in part defined by your ability to strip down an engine (at least in the small town I grew up in).

My dad was great at fixing things but every time he asked me to help he would get pissed off about something start screaming at me and often beat me. Even when I was only like 5 years old. No lie or troll on that one.
I do consider being so incompetent around the house emasculating and humiliating.

There's your answer. Your father is to blame for the current state of your mechanical ineptitude. Now go fix it. There is so much info available on how to fix things now. Go learn some stuff and man-up. Your wife will love it, and likely throw you a random BJ (or two) if you start fixing shit and getting all dirty while doing it. As much as most people don't like to subscribe to tightly defined gender roles, it has been my experience that they are very deeply set into us without us even realizing much of the time.

I tried to change my own wiper blades and used YouTube and Internet instructions and fucking went back and forth on it for about four hours until I realized for sure I had the wrong size windshield wipers.

I suspect she knows which end of the screwdriver she prefers to use and exactly where she prefers to use it. Just because they called her Husband on the wedding application doesn't mean she is a man. Not in these revolutionary times.

My ex girlfriend grew up like this, and she was retarded, Never tried shit and gave up.
I grew up like this, and i'm awesome. Because I learned to do everything without asking others, even if I kept failing over and over, didnt quit till something worked.
This one is all about attitude. Either you can be retarded like my ex, or awesome like me, the choice is yours.
