It seems to me that believing things that aren't true is the cause of far more misery and fear than not knowing things that are true. For this reason I credit the titanic headfuck that salvia delivered upon me with much of my current feelings of peace.

I'll admit that this took a number of years to become clear. But anyone familiar with salvia will understand confusion. Man I remember coming out of my first salvia trip and not even knowing I was a human being, let alone what my name was or what country I was in

Extract.  Back then they didn't have anything over 10x. This was 5x and it sent me into gingerbread land.  It's the weirdest shit I've ever done by far.  I didn't even know I was a person and every trip was crazy different.  I really did spend one trip in gingerbread land.  I'm not shitting you.

 i like the idea of trying the plain leaf but generally dislike extracts when it comes to psychedelics, if 5x did that to you i'm sure some plain leaf would be good, i think i'll grow a house plant

You'll likely get nothing.  Good quality leaf is ok though. I've smoked home grown and it's a joke.

Do be careful though. My first trip was 25x because I thought if it was legal it was probably kids stuff :goat:

Break down and buy some 5 or 10x.  Don't be cheap.:nono:  It's will blow you away most likely.  I suggest a sitter at least at first.  With the extracts you only need one little puff.  It's not that fun to smoke this shit.

I'd suggest a sitter at all times. Before I smoked it the first time my mate took a hit and almost walked straight over a balcony. When you're tripping you won't move anywhere but when it wears off there are a few minutes where you really don't know WTF is happening. I've come to from being knocked unconscious with less confusion than coming down from salvia.

One of the strangest things Salvia let me experience was becoming an object--I've literally become a garage door among other things.  Oh yeah, then there was the trip where the sensory illusion that is consensus reality cracked open and I was able to witness the true machinery behind the scenes... more precisely giant preying mantises that were devouring the Universe.

I remember trying to chase some cartoony guys in my trip that were all being sucked down some vortex. They were beckoning me and I wanted to go.  Two of my friends stopped me from running into my bedroom wall.  They said I was laughing and saying "wait for me".

My first time I was a passenger in a car and I got stuck to oncoming traffic and stretched into a thin ribbon then giant scissors snipped the ribbon in half which was a plastic bag that my mother was carrying.  I was the camera in a school bus that had just passed then I was the entire front of the bus speeding down the highway watching road signs pass by.  I thought I had gotten cut in half due to the pressure of the seatbelt around my waist or that we had gotten in a car wreck.  I thought I was driving.  When I started to come to I was standing on the highway with half of my body in the car at the wheel.  Then I witnessed myself speaking in tongues and jumping at the lap belt.  I was completely mind blown for a good two weeks.

I offered some to my girlfriend's roommate and he said he saw his family as beams of light in some realm and they were trying to get him to stay.

It is by far the most overwhelming experience IMO that I've encountered.

Careful.

Meh, overwhelming... Not my cup of tea. That's why I never really got into enjoying Salvia... I like to seek the effects out myself!

I hear that.

I feel that the entire space can be used as intelligent communication though.  Like the visions on some level carry with them meaning that comes together over time.

I wouldn't trade those experiences in.  They really rocked my world and that takes a lot at times.
