Hey guys. Gypsum is a sand like substance right?
I might have put too much Gypsum in my WBS because I can see it still in the mix while I dry. Should I wash these bad boys? They don't seem to be sticking, and look nicely hydrated.
Do I dry them, then wash them, then redry them? Or do I just go ahead and dry them, jar them, and PC them.
Thanks for your advice in advance

Just how much gypsum did you add to the soak? The gypsum I have is very fine, like dust. I have used gypsum from a drywall where there were larger clumps in the grains, I used them anyway.

Hahaha shoot. I'm going to go ahead with it. If people can get great harvests off cigarette butts,I bet I can get a harvest if I'm sterile.
How much Gypsum do you use?

I don't really have a specific amount, but when making 9 quarts of spawn I use about 2-3 tbs. There's a good amount in the bottom of the pot I soak in and I can see very small specks of gypsum here and there and some on the outer layer of the grains, but nothing I've been worried about.

That's not too much, although you could get away with less.
Gypsum is mineral, ground from solid rock. You're going to see gypsum dust on the grains after you drain the soak water. RR
