People are idiots. Never consent to a search
Sure, they MIGHT call the dogs in, but don't gift wrap the conviction for them.

If the dog is busy or far away, you will get off in court. Also the dogs are sometimes tired or just don't find the stuff.
Never consent to a search. It can never help you, consenting can only hurt you. And it's a bad use of your time.

Only if it is in transit. That would not help if the mail was in your car.

Yeah, wtf is wrong with people? Why was this guy so scared in the first place if it was just a regular traffic stop? I think people are stupid and no way would I ever consent to a search.

Cops can be big dicks when people say no to searches. They will literally waste your time for as long as possible until either they get a k9 or you tell them you're calling your lawyer. Nothing tends makes a cop more nervous than this and asking for his badge number.
the trick is not to carry large amounts of weed on you in the first place. whenever I, personally, go out with weed I bring a joint or two and keep them right in my front chest pocket or in a cup-holder. This way, if I ever do get pulled over, I can just eat them really quick and not worry about a thing.

You don't deny a consent to a search because you think that you will get out of going to jail. You deny so that there is the possibility that they fuck up enough to fight it in court.
If you get pulled over with quantities, there is a good chance you are getting caught. You can only try and set up the situation the best you can.
The number one rule is: DO NOT GET PULLED OVER.

Every time I have ever said no to a search (approx 7 times), the cops were professional and polite and said "ok, have a nice evening". Saved me time, aggravation and criminal charges.

I have been pulled over hundreds of times and have never been searched in a traffic stop.

regular traffic stops don't seem like a reason to search, but don't get pulled over in the first place.
if trafficking mass quantities, or even small quantities of shrooms for example, just take public transit! Especially if you deal a lot just get used to the public transit system and always pay your fare/have a pass
