support his clear cut win without using his yardage/TD stats. because those stats are skewed by an easy schedule. work on making a case through accuracy, or scramble ability, or pocket awareness. I see no amazing intangibles coming from this guy. most of the time i have watched him, he has 2 and 3 blazing WRs 8 steps beyond a CB and heaves it up. while those plays are fun to watch, it is more the WR than the QB. sub par QBs can heave it downfield to a 6'5" WR and make a completion.
you look at mason who was in there running the ball at an almost unheard of pace. you look at some great RBs like Tomlinson who put up slightly better numbers, but in the WAC, or how his stats look very similar to Herschel Walkers stats from georgia.
The era of the workhorse Rb is tapering off, but those guys are still some of the most impressive athletes out there. dude put up 4 TDs and 300+ yards averaging over 6 yards a carry in his 46 attempts in the SEC playoffs and threw down a 5.7 average against one of the toughest schedules this year.
just saying that if i went and played pee-wee football i would stand out and pull down MVP.
I think Winston got it for a couple reasons, and none of them have to do with him being "the best athlete". they want another tebow. and he has the stats and game tape to support it, even if it was against community colleges.

Winston ain't another Tebow. That doesn't even make sense.

i doubt anything will ever reach tebow proportions because Tebow was a PR agents wet dream. he was white, cheesily optimistic and had the heart of all the christians.
but i guess we got a game to see who shines better.

It sounds like you don’t even watch college ball you are just listing numbers of guys that were great in college and the NFL. It doesn’t work like that man heisman is not who is going to be the best in the pros, its who is the best NCAAF player of the year, that was inarguably Winston.
How can you even compare him to tebow? one has a rape scandal one is known virgin at like 30 Winston isn’t really a popular guy either. If it were popularity Manziel would have won it again, because he’s the only dude with any semblance of personality.
Trey Mason isn’t even the Top back in college how the fuck can you say he deserves the Heisman? You are just jumping on a half assed bandwagon that has had a 3 game lifespan.
NO one was even talking about Auburn until late october, no one cared until they beat Georgia.
Like i said not even the top back, arguably not even top 3, Overwhelmingly favorite QB hmmmh really hard decision there.....

yeah, because people were talking about FSU all season long too huh?
go and look at the beatings the teams on FSU's schedule took and see if it doesn't make sense. Georgia tech put up more points on syracuse than FSU did. Clemson was maybe, the only team from that division that i would consider not to be entirely abysmal, everyone else on that schedule is a joke. you got what, 1 real bowl eligible team other than FSU? might as well be conference USA...

They actually were though. Jameis went off first game of the year, if i remember correctly.
I don’t think you get that what teams you play do not matter. I mean sure no one from the MAC is going to win it, but theoretically they can. The SEC already gets gifted everything else, do they really need the Heisman too?
The Heisman is one of my favorite things about college football don’t be trying to ruin that shit man
Auburns MVP

I really hope FSU breaks the SEC trust, but i don’t think they will.
Why couldn’t it have been Bama Stanford dammit!

I think the Mac may have had a chance, but with two big iffs. If the State Attourney indicted Mansiel, and Jordan Lynch and NIU played well and beat Bowling Green for the Conference. A lot of projections showed Lynch in second last week. Far fetched but not impossible.
