What's the worst situation you've ever been in?
    #19272836 - 12/13/13 10:49 PM (10 years, 1 month ago)

Title says it all. Drug related, jail stories, girlfriends, you name it.

Any awkward story is welcome

Mine would have to be when I OD'ed on an entire bottle of ambien and ended up getting stuck in the involuntary area at a mental health facility, or as it was called cottage C, for 5 days.

Were you mentally there for those 5 days?

I'd say my worst scenario is a bit soft compared to lots of users here, but here it goes:

I was smoking a J in my friend's car with a few friends in a parking lot and out of nowhere a cop puts on his sirens. He tells us to get out of the car and asks where the weed is (he obviously saw it and it reeeeks). My friend who was driving said he didn't have any, and the cop got mad - told us to sit on the curb and that we probably would have to tell our prospective colleges that we got arrested for driving with marijuana.

After a bunch of bullshit negotiating, I hand over an eighth or so and this cop is still spewing shit at us. You guys are idiots, this is a crime, dumb kids in high school think there aren't laws...

The captain of my small town comes and lets us all go home free of charge, no call to parents even. Nothing. I quote, "I'll let you all drive home stoned now".

That made me smile

About 2 years, back when I was 16, my buddies and I climbed a grocery store from the backside and started hitting bowls. We didn't think anyone would suspect we were up there so we whipped out our headphones, started eating the pizza we'd just picked up, and so forth. Apparently someone had heard us on the roof and warned us to get down. These people had called the police and 3 police cars had shown up below us. We had no idea how the long the popo had been there but it couldn't have been more than 20 minutes. I'm just thankful one of us realized what was going on. Anyway, we made a small run for it directly from the roof (this grocery store was in the middle of a plaza and there were a lot of different stores attached to it) until we were at the opposite end of the plaza. We just jumped down and walked away quietly.

Once I was walking with a friend and three guys (dumbasses weren't even wearing masks) pulled a knife on us and told us to empty our pockets. It was more comedic than anything because they risked so much in robbing us and they walked away with a solid $2 and a couple cigarettes in the end.

Once this little girl got bit by a dog in front of my eyes. She was like 6. It was actually shocking, a little, adorable girl's reaction to a large chunk of flesh just being ripped from her tiny arms. Just the sheer amount of pain and fear she was experiencing made me shiver even more than her. It was kinda sur-real. It's insane and depressing how sadistic things that are a million times crazier than that literally happen to little kids in other parts of the world and no one gives a shit.

Once I dropped 4 tabs of acid while I was on the train heading home. From prior experience, I knew that acid (especially on a full stomach) would take about an hour minimum to kick in and my stop was only like 20 minutes away with a short 5 minute walk to my place. To my luck, a fatality had happen on the tracks (I'm assuming that means suicide) and the train stopped for a ridiculously long time. I guess a lot of paper work has to be done and the body can't be touched until forensics experts come to a conclusion which pretty much freezes the train. Instead of reaching my stop at 5:00pm, we arrived there at like 7:45. The acid took a full hour to kick in but that hour and a half on in-train tripping was fucking horrible. Being around a ton of sober, working people when your head is full of acid is weird and scary as fuck. Barely managed to get off at my stop too.

Well I almost got arrested for having LSD laced sugar cubes when I was in high school. I had gotten them off my friend. This girl I would hang out with saw an Altoona tin in my backpack 1st period and was bugging me for an Altoid, when I told her they weren't Altoids that got her really interested.  I whispered to her that it was acid and she got super excited and was like "ACID?!" Which I think the teacher heard. I stopped talking about it but she kept bringing it up asking if she could buy some. We were friends and usually after 1st period we would go smoke weed and cigs together, I brought the former she brought the latter and it was a nice way to start the day. So after class I sold her some and she went on her merry way. I took 1 hit and did my thing, went to classes and waited for it to kick in. I was 15, I had no clue what I was doing.

So after I waited an hour I took another and a little later ate some of the broken off sugar bits. Nothing was happening, I didnt understand. It was from My friend who I trusted. He wouldn't have tried to rip me off, it was really strange. After lunch I still wasnt feeling anything and went to math class. Ten minutes into class the guy who deals with truants and misbehaviors came in "hi, I'm looking for everything" he said. I got up and he said we were walking down to the office. My heart was popping out of my chest, I had a horrible feeling it had to do with the sugar cubes I had. I thought about trying to ditch them on the way but they were in my backpack and I would have to go to a bathroom with my backpack which probably wouldn't have flied with him.

We get down to the office and 2 vice principals are in there, they sit me down and ask me if I know why I'm there. Obviously I say I have no idea. They said they believed I had a narcotic on me due to word from one of the staff and multiple students. I couldn't even believe it. I still almost don't believe it. But I guess some
Kid must've narced. They searched my bag and found the Altoids tin, opened it and said "the cubes looked glossy as if dosed". They called my parents and brought in the school
Cop (who was just recently charged for sexual Abuse X4 but that's another story).

This was fuckkked!!! I thought to myself. My mom had told Me earlier that morning never to bring drugs to school! I had the acid in my backpack when she said that and was on my way out the door. Mothers have a six sense to keep you safe, ALWAYS at least listen to your mother!

So the cop, we'll call him officer Z, read me my rights and tried to ask me a bunch of incriminating questions which I pleaded the 5th to. Once he realized nothing was coming out of me (where I got it, if it was LSD, did I sell any etc...) he asked me one more question, purely out of "concern" for safety. "Do you know the whereabouts of ****** ?". the girl I had sold sugar cubes to. I really didnt, I didnt even know she wasnt in school. I later found out she had scored some Valium or morphine or something and skipped class.

The LSD never hit me, but now the school and police were pretty sure it was acid, however since I never admitted to it being LSD they had to test it to press charges on me.

... Ill type the rest in a bit

The worst situation I've experienced was when about a dozen undercover and uniformed cops raided my house. That bust cost me over 1 year in :chaingang:.

2nd place would be when a tweeker stuck a .38 practically up my nose over a 1/2 lb of pot. I truly believed I was going to die that night... . . . :peace:

For me it it was a medical scare. I wa stuck 2 weeks in excruciating pain in my ribs, worse then if I had broken them. I was weak, I couldn't lie on my back at all.

I was heading back east after living out west for about 7 months and traveling around Colorado. So I was going home for the first time in almost a year.

Had Weed/Mushroom edibles, half a sheet of L in a pocket of my jeans in my suitcase , a little bit of weed.

Missed an exit and the GPS rerouted us to the Canadian border, since it was technically the "quickest" route to where we were going.

We tried to turn around, Customs agent said we weren't allowed to since we were "already in Canada"

We had no passport, no birth certificate and at the border of a different country.

My buddy who I was heading back home with has dreadlocks and we had Colorado plates on this rental car. So you can already assume where this is going.

Our car was swarmed with Customs agents, ripping apart our car, looking in air filters under the hood, literally anywhere you could think of.

They passed by the edibles, didn't find the chillum we had, passed through my suitcase without going in my pockets where the L was and then after some intense interrogation, they let us go.

I thought I was going to do some serious time the whole time I saw them going through my luggage.

I was physically sick for the rest of the way and couldn't have been happier to get into the US after riding through Canada for the rest of the ride home.

I had a partner in a business who cleaned out the company account after I had sent out checks to 30 vendors.  The checks all bounced and I got the blame.  Obviously, the business died and it took me two years to pay off all those sums.  Definitely bad scene all the way around.

I got caught spotlighting deer on a national wildlife refuge the night before deer season started.  We were drunk and stoned and nobody paid any attention to what road we were on until we were surrounded by the fuzz.  I got a hefty fine, 100 hours of community service, a suspended jail term and three years probation.

No, I don't hunt any more.

A few years ago we got pulled over with 150g of k.. managed to talk our way out of that one as we were sober and the car was clean. Of course, whilst this was going on I made my peace with god and was willing to bend over accept the circumstances. I should have woke the fuck up at this point and been a good boy .

Last year I went to a mates party after my ex broke up with me, did the usual shit, got pretty drunk, high and k'd up.. Some hot girl was all over me, literally dragged me away and jumped on me, but because I was anesthetized I was basically a flacid zombie. This pissed me off something awful so I decided to go on a all night bender.. Skip forward to the next afternoon, we're in a park getting some more k, drinking and smoking.. cops appear out of nowhere and arrest us all. I had a load of shit down my trousers, but had a poker face until I got strip searched, as I was sure we could blag this and walk away with a caution after we got to the station (I was drunk). Ended up getting my house raided, had 2 sets of scales, bags, dmt, oz of hash, g of 4-ho-met, k, mdma.. basically lots of things. I was pretty sure I was fucked but ultimately there was only circumstantial evidence, so it was possession. At one point soca, which is the uk equivalent of the fbi were involved cause they thought I was making dmt... After taking 10 months to finally get to court and some sloppy analytical work I ended up with a fine.

Whilst on bail for the above I was in a fairly bad place mentally, and one day I ate 2 ridiculously strong fake vallies (20mg diaz & some phenaz), I had a few drinks and got some k. For some bizarre reason I decided to get on this roof (which I thought was safe & private) and k-hole watching the clouds. I did like a half g line and put my headphones on and slumped against the wall watching the world kinda melt away. I must have been sat up there for like 40 minutes till a police man poked his head over the wall (I was like 3 stories up). I whipped off my headphones, jumped up and looked over the wall.. they'd shut off the road, there was a fire engine and 3 police cars.. they thought I was gonna jump :/. Next thing I remember is being put into a harness by a fireman, then getting strip searched again, then being moved to another police station cause they found the k. Next thing I know its 4am, I'm sat in an interview room off my face still and they pretty much decide I'm a reprobate and give me a lift home. This got wrapped into my other court case and I guess further proved that I am in fact a scumbag . This one made it into the local newspaper. Ooops.

As of now, I no longer have any interest in all that drug noise. There will always be a place in my heart for what I call good drugs (mushrooms, dmt, weed etc), but I just can't be bothered with it any more. Time to grow the fuck up and make the most of what I've got left :yesnod:.

A couple years ago my power went out and I figured I would pass the time by doing some MXE. An unknown amount of time later I'm coming to in the ER with no recollection of what happened. Thought my entire life had been spent in a hospital and I was only just realizing it so that I could die in peace.

Well I was never psychotic or crazy at all. I was pretty messed up the first few days. I was still pretty out of mentally, no problem solving ability at all. I must have still been feeling the effects of the ambien and I also couldn't sleep the first night on suicide watch so that was two really bad nights in a row where i didn't sleep at all.

Robbed at gunpoint over a single ounce of high quality holy herb. A guy, his wife, and newborn son came to pick me up in a car. We drove 30 minutes away to a nearby city. We arrive, the guy in the car steps out, puts a gun to my face, takes my cash and kicks rocks, leaving me in the car with his child and wife. He texted her and told her to go home so we left the guy and the wife, child, and I went home. Fucked up.

I got trapped out in the hills of Killarney provincial park--three and a half days (about 40kms) deep in the backcountry--when a freak blizzard rolled in off of lake Huron.

I tried to keep pushing through it--but the trail carried me up to exposed granite ridges--covered in large snow drifts concealing both the uneven rocky surface and ice patches underneath--took many a fall, but when I almost slipped off the side of a ridge I admitted to myself that trail conditions were no long safe--so I set up my tent the next flat patch I found and bunkered down--during this time the temperature dropped so low (I'd estimate between minus 12-15 celsius) that I was having difficulty keeping my water supply from freezing. I basically sat in my tent, cooking and eating rice and lentil broth--keeping my alcohol stove burning often to stay warm--stripped basically naked while I tried to dry off my half frozen/half soaked clothing.

It was around this point that I realized that I would probably be in serious trouble once night fell, as the temperature was sure to plummet even further and I had zero chance of building a fire for the night. I don't have a cellphone, but I do use a smartphone as an music player--and apparently they are all still able to dial emergency services--so I got outside and climbed up to nearest highpoint and found that I had a managed to get a slight signal--I called 911 with the limited dexterity left in my fingers and quickly told them where I was, what I was doing, and that I need assistance--I didn't expect to hold the signal long, so I had to say everything I could in one shot--she said to stay where I was and they will send someone in as soon as they could--but that they weren't sure when that would be. Understandable, the place I was located was reachable only by foot or air, and this blizzard would keep any helicopters grounded--so I was three days away from rescue possibly.

With nothing more to do, I returned to my tent to try and stay dry/warm as much as possible--trying not to think about what my night may hold in store for me.

I half zoned out, because there was nothing better to do other than watch the light grey sky slowly turn to a dark grey--when I heard the telltale flutter of a helicopter.

Jumping out of my tent, I waved my orange towel around my head until the spotlight flashed in response--then I packed up my tent with record speed--just in time to be greeted by one of the search and rescue team who guided me to the helicopter--turned out they were thinking the same thing as I had been--that they either flew in that day or set off for the three day journey to reach me--apparently right before they called on the hike, they decided the weather had cleared up just enough to hazard the air journey.

Dropping me off at the provincial police station in Sudbury, they asked where I wanted to go--I had hitched up to this park and had nowhere to go so I had them drop me off at a nearby hotel--got a police escort right to the front desk (they wanted to make sure a room was available) and judges by the looks of other people, they thought I was either a VIP or criminal.

Anyways, yadda yadda yadda--took a hot shower, bought a bunch of food, and then just lay naked on my kingsized bed while I lorded it up over the fact that I was not currently popsicled.

Easily one of the closest times I've come to dying--learnt the lesson that the margin of error is much slimmer out in the backcountry than it is in civilization--and garnered a deep appreciation for the effort and skills of search and rescue workers--and, got a free helicopter tour through northern Ontario I guess!

oh, and though the blizzard calmed down slightly during the evening, it basically lasted for 48hours and I would have been entirely buried had I stayed to wait it out.

Holy shit Shiva, definitely makes you appreciate civilization more than ever.  Nature is nothing to fuck around with.

One bad situation ive been in was driving around hollywood with two of my buddies drinking 40's.  MY friend who was driving his fathers cadillac also had a suspended license, for drinking and driving

So we get pulled over out of nowhere by two cops on motorcyles...we throw the 40's on the ground trying to hide them.. and the cops up to the windows and start yelling random cop bullshit then pull the driver out of the car.  At this point I was sure we were getting arrested, but after some yelling the cops get back on their bikes and cruise away.

My friend gets back in the car and what did they say?

" You know throwing your cigarette butt's on the street is illegal right? yada yada yada"

God Damn all that worrying for nothing..

About 6 years ago I was out riding my motorcycle at night. I'm going about 50mph, and a car coming the opposite direction turns left about 150-200 feet in front of me. I swerve/drift far into the turning lane and miss their rear bumper by about a foot. If I had reacted a second slower I would have T boned a car on a bike at 50 mph...not sure how that would have turned out.

Another time I was having some fun on mountain roads that I was familiar with but didn't know extremely well. I knew that  a tight right hand turn was coming up and that there was a sign to signal it, but somehow missed it and came on the turn way too fast. I braked/turned a little too vigorously and slid the rear end out going about 30 mph into most of the opposite lane. Luckily no one was coming and my reactions were decent, as that could have easily been a bad accident or me going through a guardrail and off a ~100 foot drop.

After of all the dumb stuff I've done on roadways, I'm now a fairly modest driver and no longer ride bikes. Not sure whether that's a good thing. Fast vehicles are so much fun, but it may not be worth the risk unless it's on a track.

Was also a moderate alcoholic for a while. Rarely drink more than a drink or two in one night anymore, in large part thanks to this community. Not having to deal with hangovers, stupid drunk behavior, and the like is completely worth it, imo. I still have some mild issues with habitual substance use, but the negatives are far more mild than they were with alcohol, as I've educated myself on various plant medicines and opted to stick with clean ingestion methods of relatively harmless substances.

Other than that, just some health issues that I'm slowly addressing.

Damn shiva! That's some serious more next Les Stroud shit! Killarney is beautiful, though. I'd love to see it from a helicopter

The worst situation that I've been in (the only one I'll talk about here, that is) happened pretty close to Killarney PP.

Highway 522 goes east/west between highway 69 at French River and highway 11 south of North Bay. It is honestly the middle of nowhere.

I was riding my motorbike eastbound when I saw a blackbear and two cubs in the road ahead of me. I slowed down a bit, and they moved about 50 feet off the side of the road by the time I pulled up even with them.

I stopped to check them out, like you would in a car.

I watched them for a while, and it was pretty clear that they weren't afraid of me in the least. I soon realised that I was pretty exposed if mama bear decided that she might not like the way I was looking at her cubs, so I decided to split.

The bike was idling in neutral, and when I pulled in the clutch (which had been sticking a bit) and shifted into first gear, the drivechain ripped apart and broke off all sorts of parts of the engine. I wasn't going anywhere.

This didn't scare the bears at all, and the mama was looking more and more interested in me the longer i stood there thinking abut what I was going to do.

Luckily the engine was still running, so I gunned the engine a few times, and started running down the road, pushing the bike and gunning the engine.

I probably pushed that thing about 5 kms before a guy in a pickup truck came bup from behind me. I didn't hear him coming, and when he pulled up beside me, I was still jogging, pushing the bike and reving up the engine. He had the purest "WTF?'' expression I've ever seen on anybody's face before

He called a tow truck for me. Had to sit beside a tow truck driver all the way to Toronto  No idea what happened to the bears.

Beaten unconscious by a metal pipe:

I was at a public place, and some guy was talking shit, so I decided to beat his face in because I was young and stupid. It started as a good clean fist fight. It was all going really well until he pulled out a metal pipe and proceeded to beat me onto the floor, and then beat me unconscious.

I was hurt real, real bad. I have massive scars from it to this day. They look like I was in a war zone. Luckily they're covered by hair. I probably lost a lot of brain cells that day.

It took me a long time to recover, and I've never been quite the same. For a long time, I had an unnaturally hard time recognizing people's faces, even people I'd known for a long time.

I also became permanently way more impulsive and way more willing to take risks which lasts to this day. After that, I never got into another fist fight, though. That guy had the opportunity to kill me, and either didn't want to, or thought he had. Not worth it.

I had undiagnosed schizophrenia in 2007 and my house mates in a 3mil pop city left the place because they felt unsafe around me, and the university staff providing the house kind of forgot about me, so I just went slowly more and more crazy in this house on my own. I was having insane panic attacks when I went down the street, so I couldn't get any food. I thought I had to fulfill some mission and thought not to contact my mum or brother, and later I totally forgot about them. So I survived on Weet-a-Bix with sugar on them, completely dry, for like two weeks. I ended up doing some insane shit, trashing my room, throwing shit everywhere, because I couldn't take it anymore, and I tried to kill myself but after the first injury I backed off, I think I also had some concussion, so my emotions started to dull. The neighbours started commenting on my thoughts and when I walked out into the kitchen naked with a tomatoe in my hand (lol) a camera on top of a neighbours shed quite clearly and realistically appeared to take a photo of me and all the neighbours started laughing, apparently. I did some more insane shit with the neighbours commenting on me in my head the whole time. When I slept the voices went so maybe it was more a sleep deprivation thing, I might have been up for 3 days or more at once. Finally the university staff comes to my house to check up and sees me all fucked up with a broken nose and cut on my forehead and blood in my hair, and my brother is informed and they get me the fuck out of there. Been medicated ever since, haven't been the same since either. I've only just started to be reminded of who I used to be.

One more story. My cousin and I were tripping on shrooms with some girls and we decided to walk to the beach.  In the middle of the walk one of the girls blacked out and ate pavement. She got up with a hole in her chin and we spent the rest of the night tripping in the hospital.

I've had a lot of shitty experiences, but 2 immediately come to mind and stick out. A surgery when I was 17 that took over 6 months to recover from. They put 2 titanium rods in my back. And the other was an 8 cop task force raiding my house, and charging me with 6 first degree felonies and around 20 other bullshit charges. Kicking a $500+ a day OC habit pretty much cold turkey was horrible too!

DOnt want to go into too much detail...

Well for a few weeks, i was binging on xanax. I don't really remember much of those
weeks, but at the end of it all i woke up in jail freaking out because i didn't know if
anyone knew i was in there or even what i did to get in. I was a DUI... and Apparently
i had been getting it on with some girl that week (while benzo'd out) and she comes
to bail me out. So since i didn't remember her, when she hugs and kisses me, i was
like "um... do i know you?" was a very awkward drive home, and terrible situation
waking up in jail.

The story of how I almost got arrested on acid the most acid I had ever taken

First off this is not an all bad experience of mine it was an epic trip and good learning expirience. Me and 2 of my friends one day decide to do this like 80-90%pure acid i had(it was fuckin amazing). We are all in good spirits i had the house to myself. My friends took 2 225mcg hits and another shady friend dropped in and wanted in the trip so he took 3.I took 7 225mcg tabs within 2 hours & i knew i was in for a crazy bight but i had no idea.If i were to chronicle the entire trip it would be a long time writing this but i was tripping my ass off we were all laughing and marveling at a fountain/statue in my backyard while listening to pink floyd and the beatles. The statue was almost alive tand moving, blinking, trying to escape her bonds. The water fallling looked like diamonds floating to the ground. Then the stars started to dance to the music so elaborately, elegantly they danced as if they had practiced it a thousand times.I saw royal looking neon outlines of lion kings. Not the movie just lions that were kings

So this kind of stuff continues and escalates over the hours and my sketchy friend kept acting weird saying stuff like i wanna talk to the cops right now and im so confused i just got to go in the garage. Now im having an epic trip with my two best friends outside im having ego death and just really tripping hard but whenever we went inside A would act suspicious and there would be very strong strong bad vibes like an actual backstabbing occurred.

Finally at 9,6 hours into it we dropped A off at his house and we got a few 40s and headed to the aqueduct that everyone goes to to smoke and drink. My best friends said" Do you know what just happened back there?Alec took tons of your weed because he knew you were tripping to hard to notice. We couldn't tell you because we didn't know if you were going to beat the dogshit out of him, which i would have.So as we were talking about the disappointment we had in him things were getting fun again we started drinking(even though we knew we wouldn't feel it)and listened to music that synched up with some airfield lights far away.

We were smoking cigs and we all decided to take some of the xanax i brought to calm down the trip. Then my two friends decided to go explore the mountain near by.I didn't want to go because i was peaking hard but i went back to the car to tell L my best friends girl we were going to go explore before i could open the car door we are enveloped by light.light. Im thinking whoa this is some good shit but the light stayed and two cops emerged from the now distinct cop car.I freeze immediately and see 2 bags of weed in the car 8 xanax a few adderal, some soma(all i had scripts for) and two open 40's one possibly finished.

What happened next was survival instinct mode because the officers face started twrilling, his squad car turn into a black and white flinstones mobile and there was 25 pairs of eyes in my field of vision.I look him straight in what i think his face and say beautifull night isnt it officer,we have never been up here the view is really nice.He says did you know its illegal to park up here.I said no sir i honestly didnt. He said its alright but there was a stabbing close to here recently and theres alot meth heads around here.I said that shit ruins lives. Then he asked us all what we were doing as far as schooling(stalling us while his partner searched the vehicle)I said i want to become a bartender.Officer says why? I said well i love people, socializing and i dont drink too much(after i just showed him my 18 year old id)=P.After a while they say did you know there was alcohol in your car,my friend C said yes sir thats mine(hes 25) and he said whos bag of weed is this*pulls weed out* i said thats mine sir.Do you have your medical marijuana card i said yes sir.I pulled it out and he said is it expired and i told him the truth it was only expiried by 3 days and i was planning on renewing it.

Then he pulled out the pills i explained they were all mine and i had scripts for all these things. And he stood us up and was about to say well we are going to have to detain you or something but a frantic call came in saying someone was stabbed and hijacked one street over.He looks at the ground shaking his head and says something ill never forget. He said well you guys are lucky we have better shit to do ,get that licence renewed and next time we will impound the car for 30 days .

I was like thank you god,i truly felt god granted me a miracle that night because they just asked me to see my ID if they would've asked me like they did everyone ele there name and birthdays i would not have been able to answer because i had no fucking clue.

This was still one of the coolest trips ive ever had in wierd ways but the run in with the cops was the absolute worst situation that couldve happen.Right when i was peaking and it was the highest dose i had ever taken. It took some serious acting to get my way outta that but it was truly a miracle we got out of it without anything on records or anything

As a kid, when my lung collapsed.
My heart attack.
My 300mg oral MDPV overdose.

By far the absolute worst feeling was the MDPV overdose.  I asked the doctor, while holding my fathers hand, while pissing myself, to sedate me unconscious even if that would mean death.

weeks, but at the end of it all i woke up in jail freaking out because i didn't know if
anyone knew i was in there or even what i did to get in.

Dude that's freaking hysterical, the part about the chick.

Closest was when I was little kiddo. Playing with bullets I found hidden. Dropped some pills when I was few years old, got hospitalized (I obv do not remember this, just have been told about it). Had some body issues too (bottom part paralysis), but that got fixed as well.
Time when I was codeine/oxycodone junkie was harsh (I was about 15-16). But that ended well, so I can say I had pretty good luck with everything. And then there is now. Broke, with loan which I must pay tomorrow, with unpaid bills, with no way to move to city where I can get job. And like that isn't enough, crashed my friends car, so now I am completely f**ked. If this would be summer, probably things would be less difficult. I have no idea what will I do without Internet, lol, I better live without any good food then. ;D Anyway, here I am. Too sober, too broke, too hopeless.

i never do acid until after my campsite is up. having a good campsite can make or break your weekend. and at big fests its kinda a race to set it up before u run out of room. you gotta be on top of your game

but ya so i started trippin, was freaking out for a bit. then once i started peaking i decided that this is no time to worry about real life problems so i basically just startes going on full drug mode to forget about lifes problems. ur only at a big festival maybe 3 weekends a year so rage it while u can

i paid a homie to drive out with extra keys the next day lol

I'm gonna go with a girl story.

So I meet this girl, seems like my dream gal at the time. Since she seemed uninterested and most of our friends are mutual friends I try to forget about it. A couple months later she gets back from her summer vacation and I learn that she had been into me earlier on as well. I feel like an idiot for not having had made a move earlier but I figure it's never too late. So we get flirty but only see eachother when we're kickin it with mutual friends and I keep forgetting to ask her out whenever I have a good opening. Since nothing is actually happening between us I get this odd feeling that maybe she thinks of me as the "gay friend" - you know, the dude that a girl can share her feelings with and stuff, a shoulder to cry on, but nothing but more. I run it around in my head and realize that I'm probably right, so I (reluctantly) just give up on the whole thing again, figuring I'm wasting my time.

So, my thought process is, "she's not into me", "she's into me", and then back to "she's not into me". Now she's a shy girl but a month later we get some tongue action going on during some truth n dare (yeah, yeah, I know it's pretty fuckin silly). So now my thought process is back to "she's into me", but then due to some irrelevant shit keeping me in another state entirely for the next month, nothing more happens. So we hang out between mutual friends once more and we get flirty again, so once more, I think to myself "it's on". Couple days later I get the nerve to ask her out. Keep in mind, I've got some serious feelings for this girl. So, she giggles a little bit and says "Oh sorry, but I've got a secret boyfriend in X country that I vacationed in. You won't tell anybody, right?"

Yeah. They were together the whole fuckin time. Guess I was basically "the side guy", or "the back-up guy". The worst part is I can't avoid her.

And yeah I know it sounds like a cheap made-up excuse. That's what I thought too, and when I questioned it, it turned out to be true.

thats why playing games is fucking stupid. i always tell girls if i like em pretty quickly. the longer u wait the less likely its gonna happen

i was in a similar situation with a chick i was so in love with. i could never tell if she was just a super friendly girl or if she liked me and i never made a move bc shes my homies little sister. so once i finally didnt give a shit that she was my friends sister and made a move, it was too late. now were friends but ill always want more. just make your intentions clear somewhat quickly

u woulda saved a lot of time

you could always keep trying tho. they arent married and their in different countries. AND its a typical thinh to say that does sound like bullshit. its a secret, dont tell anyone. yeah idk man

We were on a three day kayaking expedition. My good friend crushed a number of vertebrae after landing flat off a 40 foot waterfall.

Luckily he floated right to me in the eddy and I snagged him and his boat up before he went over the next 60 footer.

We built a litter and got him out of the gorge, with difficulty.

On my way back upstream to get a helicopter I jumped onto a giant round boulder. Probably a 10 ft diameter. I feel the fucker shift under me and begin to roll down the hill.
So I have to log roll on top of it to avoid falling underneath and getting crushed. Luckily I manage to hop off and the rock just keeps going.

Got the helo and got him out, he made a full recovery and continues to kayak crazy shit.

I was hiking from Wanaka to Queenstown in New Zealand on the most beautiful trail ever.
These parrots called Kias were screeching and I was stoked on the views so I get hella blazed. A few minutes later I hear some screams that sound different from the Kias.
Then this English bloke comes racing down the trail and says his friends fell into a ravine and he needs a cell phone.
I don't have one but tell him there's a radio at the bottom. So he heads down.
I keep hiking and can see marks where the two fell, probably 200 feet down. I intercepted a couple folks with ropes and what not and they're able to climb down and do some CPR.
Then the helicopters come and attempt to get them out of there.

What happened was the girlfriend started to slide and the boyfriend tried to grab her and they both end up going down. The boyfriend dies and the girlfriend survives.

I hung out trying to help for too long and end up in a survival situation myself sleeping next to the trail in a garbage bag with high winds and moderate cold.

Far better off than those folks though.

I was at a party, in my teens. The cops came so we took off through the back yard and hopped a few fences. We got to a buddy's car around the corner and piled in. There weren't enough seats, so I hopped in the trunk all hammered drunk. We got pulled over down the road. They arrested the driver for dui and called everybody's parents, but didn't bother searching the car. Instead of impounding the car, dudes mom drove an hour out at like 2am to pick it up. I had no idea what was going on. I was just chillin' there, throwing up all over the place. So mom picks the car up and drives back home. I was locked in this trunk for like 4 hours. She finally gets home and I've had enough so I start making noise. She opens the trunk and finds me there, covered in puke.

She just started laughing and told me to go home.

I was really drunk leaving the bar on base had the ex driving behind me because I was told to move my car and couldn't leave it at the bar. She was drinking too, but not that much. Base police tried to pull her over, so I took off to get there attention, made it off base, but of course the local pd were sitting at the gates. Ended up in a pursuit, totaled five police cars through three different stations. Finally decided to give up, pulled over, they let the dogs go after I gave up. All charges were dropped after I sued while still in county prison, except I had to pay damages my insurance didn't cover. Got picked up by military police from jail after two months, and was given a general discharge under honorable conditions because technically I never did anything bad because everything was dropped. My life completely changed at that point and I turned it around, I would do anything for a redo, but that's my story. Seven years later GEICO will still not insure me for car insurance even though now they hire me to do expert witness testimony in accident cases.

One time, when I lived in Hawaii, me and my friend took about a gram of mushrooms and got really lost in a REALLY BIG fern forest. If he didn't have his cell phone, we could have been stuck out there for days, maybe died

Luckily, the fire department Search and Recuse had a helicopter and a team of rescuers to find us, and they eventually did with their flashlights and them yelling toward us. They finally found us at like 12:30am, after being lost for like 6 hours. I remember shaking these huge fern trees at the helicopter flying about to get their attention.

It was a pretty frightening experience, and I hope to NEVER repeat it. No more getting lost with little food and water on shrooms. There was one cool part: we both got an individual airlift by the helicopter out of the fern forest. That was awesome. And scary. We were sooooooo far from the original lava bed trail we originally took. I couldn't believe how far we traveled. :omgz:

Dont get lost on shrooms! :nonono:

Yeah, we weren't tripping that hard, like just confusion and like "hey, lets keep going farther!" feeling.

We were pretty much back to baseline when the heli's got us, but I could still kinda feel it.

Also, I forgot to mention, we werent in the helicopter, we were in a 2 person basket that hung below it. It was way cooler cause of that, but Im a little scared of heights, so a little sketch too. :dontspillme:

And yes, the forest at night looking down, from that hanging people basket was AMAZING. And relieving. We finally got out.

I am an international student who met a group of nice friends when moving into the apartment. Our first semester we had the craziest fucking times, smoking weed 20 times a day, snorting shit sometimes, tripping sometimes, pretty much everything except smoking stuff and IV.

Anyways there was a day where the police busted down their door and my two friends who owned that apartment were arrested (they're fine right now just on probation) but that experience, being an international student, could have gone so much worse. I could have been deported, or if not if I was caught with substances I would have to go through so much shit because I don't have many documents here.

Having my life threatened by an old "friend" while he was on a huge crystal meth binge. This happened in my OWN bedroom. Won't go into details because I don't want to relive it.

Other than this, I'd say getting kicked out of my old roommate's apartment. Luckily, I met my NEW roommate who is a lot nicer than my last jack ass roommate. And my parent's house was occupied at the time so I couldn't go back home.

Me and three other good friends were posting up in the parking lot of an old folks home.  We had been there the past two weekends blazin and chillin to tunes.  We were all pretty new to smokin at this point and I had just picked up some bomb ass purp.  We were smoking out a shitty soft glass bong takin rip after rip.  It was my good friends first night ever smoking so he dint know how to hit the bong.  I was like it is all good I got ya.  I pack it to the brim and torch the whole bowl.  After that he was gone.  He said I looked like a human with cat for a head.  All baked as shit we started jammin to satisfaction by benny benassi.  My friend was messing with the volume turning it up and down real quick so it sounded all trippy.  In this happy daze all the sudden we see mad sirens pull up behind us.  I threw the bong underneath my friends seat and the bong water spilt everwhere.  The cop rolls up and smoke is billowing out the window.  He tells us to get the fuck out.  they search us all only to find absolutely nothing cept the bong.  I was so lucky to have left the bagged out zip at my friends place.  They gave us a rough time at first then started joking with us.  One cop was like this isnt so bad.  In college it will hurt when you pee.  They were especially mean/harsh to my black friend and I imagine it would have gone very different if we were all black.  Twas a crazy time

Alright, you want more stories? I already talked about a serious drug problem, serious health issues, and serious legal trouble. I guess ill move on to serious girl trouble. When I was in college, I was living over 1200 miles away from my friends and family. I ended up dating this one chick for 3 years, and we lived together for about 2 and a half years. We never argued and always got along great. I was sure I was going to end up merrying this girl, but then the shit hits the fan. She ends up cheating on me, and avoiding me. We break up a week before I graduate, and just after I paid our $900 rent. So I'm pretty much broke, far away from all my friends and family, and kinda stuck. I didn't want to be there, but had no where I could crash long enough to get back on my feet. I end up using the little money I have left to get home. I grabbed what I could of my shit, and flew out the day after graduating.
But none of that compares to the situation I'm in now. I'm not going to go into detail, but I have a kid with a woman I can't stand anymore. You know the hell of trying to raise kids with someone you no longer even like as a person!?!?!

This for sure, my house getting raided for a homicide case was/ is the most violating feeling I've ever experienced, knowing that every firearm i posed, my glass collection.. EVERYTHING was taken.. There were pages and pages of yellow forfeiture and seizure items.. (Things they took)

My trial is yet to be started and i don't even know the kid that died.

Worst situation currently at hand but I've had worst days;)

one time I was bangig this lesbian from my work. well after we got done banging we where hanging out and whatnot(at her house). well as we where getting ready to leave I hear her girlfriend pull into the driveway and start walking to the door. so naturally I run for the back door.....but wait, the backdoor was locked and i couldnt figure out how to unlock it. so the next thing I do is hide behind the blinds lol
well then I heard the girl I was banging and her girlfriend get in a huge argument because I had made so much noise trying to escape she knew I was there.
So my lesbian LEAVES me alone there and on top of that this girls gf is standing right behind me with a field hockey stick crying her heart out,I explained things to her and whatnot but she was so pissed that she just told me to leave.
now me being me I couldnt leave a girl in distress so I ended up staying for like another 30 mins to talk to her (she even gave me an ice cream:hellyeah:) so eventually I decide to leave.....except the girl I was banging took my shoes and cellphone with her when she left because she thought I had left out the back door before she left.

long story short she was waiting outside and we went and got some tacobell after:thumbup:

I actually wrote a book about all the bogus situations i've been in.  a good 200 page book!  Ill share one for now.

When I was 17 coming home from school at 3pm.  I walked because it was like 1 min from my house.  I was walking up to the door on the side of my house and I seen my ma wasn't home, as the garage was on the same side.  As i'm walking up, I see my dad walking too the ladder he just set up to blow out the gutters on the house.  The ladder was around the corner from the door.  My dad is a raging skinny alcoholic and I was so dead sick of his shit at the time.  So as hes climbing the ladder and I have the door open to go inside and drop my books and shit off, he says. "Tripp, come over here and hold the ladder for me".  I said, "give me a minute to set my stuff down."  The stubborn asshole begins climbing anyway so I go inside and set my shit down.  In this room, theirs like 10 windows so you can see the whole backyard including the ladder that was basically right in my face.

I look up and see the ladder start completely flip.  A massive wave of fear jolts my body as I see this ladder fall too the left and hit the ground. About a second later, I see my dad come spiraling down through the window right of the ladder, next to the door.  I scream, "DAD", and run out the door.  I see him, lifelessly lying on the ground turned away from me.  I walk around to see his face and his eyes are wide open, frozen.  He's not breathing.  A sensation of depression, helplessness, and, I'm the only one existing right now; morbidly fills the air.  I shake him and say, "please say something".  "DAD!"  Tears just burst out my eyes and down my face.  "This can't be happening, no, no, no, no."  I squeeze his hand and rest my head on his.  "No matter who you are or what you've done, I'll always love you.."  My voice trembles indecisively.  "I can't let you go; now, can't be your time."

Suddenly, through all of the garbage we've been through, all the pain, suffering, love hate..  His breathing kicks in!  A sudden feeling of joy/excitement and hope over come me.  I couldn't believe it.  I called and ambulance and they got there within two minutes after he began breathing.  They took him away and that was that.  Luckily, all that had happened was, a bleed in his brain and basically knocked unconscious.  Hes paralyzed to begin with though (on his left side from a bike accident when he was 15; hes now 55) so I imagine that a brain bleed ain't all too good, especially when your already paralyzed.

One of the scariest things I've ever seen, don't take family for granted; no matter how crazy/shitty they are.

An explosive (in the middle of nowhere, the desert) propelled shrapnel that sliced my head open about half an inch deep. I still think to this day what if I had been standing a little bit closer or a little bit further and it had hit my neck.

When I was young a friend and I attempted to steal from a complete lowlife scumbag (I do not believe in stealing, I was like 13 and the person was a very bad person) on our way to the persons house a neighbor came out with a shotgun and asked us what we were doing, we said just walking. He went back into his house and we went down the street to climb on the wall on the persons side yard,  it was a slow process due to a lot of bushes and stuff on the wall. We set off a motion detector and for some reason the neighbor arrived. The neighbor who we assume brought his shotgun with him and the person were nearby so we dropped into the neighboring house's yard, curled up into balls near the wall in the shadow, and didn't move an inch or breath audibly. We waited it out until they left.

This year on my first day of school I intended on taking a little bit of 25c-nbome but a friend of mind got a great deal : ( on some dropper bottles and being stupid I didn't think anything about 50 dropper bottles for like $6. The first drop didn't get into my sinuses so I dropped another, that drop was huge and I ended up having a very high level 3 nearing a level 4 trip while at school. I had so much anxiety I thought I would have a heart attack, but I took 1.5mg of clonazepam and waited it out.

Not super scary but one time I was being searched by a cop (I also had pretty much the best weed/alcohol high of my life) and I had some clonazepam in my pocket. He searched me and didn't feel it in there! A couple months later I realized in the jacket I was wearing I also had amphetamine, more clonazepam, and dextromethorophen! which somehow he didn't notice either. WOW

One time I was on E, and smoking a blunt at some unknown business complex. I had to take a piss, and left my car and friends to pee. It was really dark. There was this little four foot fence, so I figured I would jump the 4-5 foot fence and pee on the other side so they wouldn't see my huge wang (common courtesy). Turns out I was up on a two story platform, and this "four foot fence" was only to prevent you from falling off. I jumped over it, expecting to land immediately, but kept falling another 25 feet into this creek area, broke my leg and nobody could hear me screaming. They found me an 30 mins later, all wet and almost hypothermic

Another time, I was snowboarding in the backcountry and got caught in a tree hole for what seemed like forever. Thank god a good Samaritan came and helped me out, because the more I struggled the deeper I was sinking in. That was probably the scariest, but it's not as entertaining as the story above.

Living with a good friend for ~3 years and watching him slip gradually into alcoholism, becoming more and more dishonest, violent, and unpredictable.

I'm moving out in 2 weeks and don't even know if I can keep up my friendship with him after some of the horrible shit he's done while drunk, but I will definitely try to get him to seek help for his substance abuse. :feelssadman:

I had some of those in the 90's, they claimed it as "acid" "orange mini barrels". Ha, was an RC chem more than likely (I did not know about these RC chems until 2003). I took 2 and it took about an hour or so to kick in. I went to a Scarborough fair on them. I felt really sick to my stomach for the first hour or so and it was a strange trip.

I DEMAND more stories!

One time I was at a high school/college party. (in Wisconsin we party together) and the party was busted. Me and my 14 year old friend who I brought to his first party, was sitting outside covered in paper towels and vomit. (It was cold out so people asked if he was gonna freeze and I was like nah I got him paper towels.)

He wakes up when he hears the word cops and the whole party hides down in the basement while the cops are at the door. I don't really know what happened but the cops were looking through the windows and a democracy of lets get the fuck out of here came up and a lot of us bounced. I didn't wanna bounce till the last possible moment but I had to find my ride back to my hometown. Me and my friend hop the back fence with 2 stoners and we randomly meet our ride while we're walking down the road behind the house party. He picks us up, picks up one of our drug dealer friends and we go to her dealers house cuz it's near by. (We had other people to find).

We get there and go inside. There's a black dude at the door and he says hey and I'm like what up. Not cuz he's black but cuz I'm a stoner and I talk like a stoner. And he' says "don't be like that man" So we get in and my buddy and I play xbox and this big black dude asks if we wanna buy drugs. We already bought bud so we didn't want any. And then we talk to the dude at the door. He asks our name and then he tells us he's tupac. We're just kicking it there while my ride tries to figure shit out. Then tupac comes into the room we're playing xbox and asks if we wanna smoke a blunt.

Of coursed we did. We go to a downstairs place at his condo and down there is the 2 stoners we hopped the fence with at the party. So we smoke a blunt with them and tupac and go back upstairs. Then my ride says we're going so we go to pick up the rest of our friends and leave.

What, not scary? Black people are incredibly scary. Kidding. It was weird though.

There was also the time I was drinking with my girlfriend and my friends but broke up with her cuz when I went to go bang her in the shower i saw her panties had shit stains. She went out the window onto a ledge and was gonna kill herself. My bro goes out onto the ledge and grabs her and pulls her back inside. He's not a big dude, she could of easily took him down. The dude gets mad respect from me.

One of the weirdest things that's ever happened to me.

I was at a pay phone calling my weed connect, but I had lost his number so I had to remember it from memory. I must have dialed a number or two wrong. A strange man answered the phone, definitely not my weed connect. I could hear him on the phone and behind me, and likewise he could here me. The weirdest part, the guy I had misdialed was standing five feet behind me in line to get movie tickets. Somehow, I had misdialed my friend and called this guys number who was standing right behind me. crazy shit. He was all freaked out, HOW DID U GET MY NUMBER! WHAT THE HELL. I ran away for some reason

i'll go back and read this thread but worst situation...

probably when my friends and i were blazing at my friends neighborhood pool at night, a few years ago. neighbors called police on us as we had been making a habit of doing this. when those cop cars rolled up after we had jUST finished smoking i'll never forget the sheer surprise i felt.

my friend was sitting there repeating 'i dont know what to do' and this girl was saying 'do something, do something' so i took my bowl and hurled it like a hundred feet into the woods moments before they found us. luckily we had finished all the weed.

we were all twitching the fuck out when they brought us up to the lot and shined lights in our eyes and stuff, we were with a damn 15 year old girl just totally randomly it was so strange. she had a lighter with a weed leaf on it lol and they took that.

Damn, thats frickin weird as Fuck! I mean, whats the chances of calling someone right next to you by accident? One in a million?! Crazy.

I have a pretty embrassing story.

So, i was in a hotel lobby having breakfast with my Dad and my older brother. We were on a family vacation. I was like 14 or 15. We were all quiet then a person came in on a wheel chair with no arms and no legs. For some reason, i thought i would break the silence with a joke i heard recently fron school so i said "Hey guys, what do you call a person with no arms or legs?". Then i said "Bob". My Dad turned to me in disgust and said "Son, your timing is impectible".

I soon realized what i had done and felt like a huge jack ass. I said some pretty dumb shit when i was young

Its crazy how maturity changes you. I would never think to say that now, unless i was really tripping hard. Lesson learned

I've had a serated garden knife held up to my throat while dude stepped on my shoe so I couldn't move after being ripped off for something North of Miami.  Dude had his mom or grandma rip me off and I went back to where he lived (a couple of streets down) knocked on the door and he came out trying to cause trouble.  That wasn't very fun, but I held my ground.  Whole thing was stupid, glad I'm out of there, people are nuts.

One story that some shroomerites might remember:  being at MagFest and trying Salvia for the first time (I was like 16 or 17 probably, a decade ago at least) and as soon as it hit me having about 15 undercover officers grab me by my neck to lift pull me up backwards out of my chair and come out of the woods and slam me against a car.  I didn't even have anything illegal on me.  They were fucking with me big time though and all came out of the woods forming a half circle around me trying to tell me that I smoked salvia with everyone at the circle and "they are all going to die, and it will be your fault and you'll rot in jail" - etc.  I just had to call my parents but didn't end up getting in trouble.  There were a bunch of shroomerites there to witness that one, it was quite the scene.

Lets see... also being chased and screamed at by a mob of crazy black people in Bed-Stuy to where I was staying at 3am in Brooklyn next to Marcy Projects.  That was fun.  No real reason for that one.

I have a ton of stories.  Don't ever take rides from random people on Craigslist... learned that one the hard way, even if the person is a Phish fan, rofl.

Got pulled over riding so dirty with a couple friends on a nice summer night after a rave. In a cigar box under the driver's seat, by my feet in the back seat, we had about 3 ounces of weed, a few grinders, a couple scales, papers, and 80 rolls. We were all rolling, and just finished smoking so the car was literally fresh when the cop pulled us over.

The cop walks up to the car and shines his light in at us. This made the cloud of smoke that we were sitting in even more visible. He asks for us to put the window down, and we do, which is when the cop is hit with a literal cloud of smoke. The car continued to billow smoke as he glared in at us.

He said, "looks like you guys have been smoking tonight. you don't have any more weed on you, right? I'm not gonna find any fresh weed in that vehicle, right?"

"correct, officer."

He walks back to his sqaud car.

All three of us whisper to eachother that we all are rolling so hard we might puke at this point.

The cop approaches again.

"I got bigger shit to deal with tonight than a car full of pot heads. Why don't you guys go hang out on your couch instead of driving around without your headlights on? That's why I pulled you over! Turn on your lights, get home!" He said.

We literally cried and smiled and laughed the whole way home.

When we finally arrived at home, we all felt this incredible sense of complete relief. We proceeded to smoke an ounce or so of that weed we got away with to celebrate our freedom.

Was certain we were all going away that night.

Not that bad of a situation but 2 friend and I were smoking weed exploring cool places. We were inside private property not hurting it or anything, there was just a lot of nice nature so we were walking around and hanging out. We were young at the time and I still got very high from weed. So its the end of the night and we climbed over the fence to leave when we see or hear a cop car. I can't remember how we first detected it but we laid down in the bushes and stuff where we were, we were not even completely covered or anything but we laid flat not moving a muscle and not speaking. It was very hard because we were on top of dead twigs and stuff which made a lot of noise. I remember my knees and arms hurt because of what I was laying down on top of. So we waited and I said I know it was a cop car bla bla bla, now that I think of it I'm pretty sure I saw the flashing lights. At first my friends tried to say I was just high and it was some light on a gate thing. I was right, soon a cop car pulled up and announced on his megaphone, or car speaker system to come out of the bushes we see you. He repeated that and similar lines over and over but we didn't move or speak or come out. He waited there about half an hour occasionally saying something similar about come out with your hands in the air we see you in there. Either he was very lazy or afraid to go look in the bushes and stuff because he never left the side of his car. A cop, I'm unsure if there was 1 or 2 stood next to the car shining his flashlight very close to us, and on us. The car left, we waited then walked home.

Everything I say on here is not true, I am an insecure person who lies about doing drugs and stuff to make myself feel good. So any illegal things I may have talked about are all fictional.

Woke up next to my sister, covered in a pool of urine with a really bad headache and almost no recollection of the night before.  My penis smelled like vagina, but she swears me didn't do nothing.  To this day it brings me pain to even think or talk about it.  She is really hot, but I hope she is telling the truth.

When I was 17, me and a friend were walking home together (he lived a block away from my house). It was around midnight and we had spent the day getting drunk with friends. We were both completely shitfaced. Being the bright 17 yr olds that we were, we thought it would be fun to push over every street/stop sign that we came across. Yes, we were a couple of stupid punks. After making it a few blocks, a car screeches up next to us and two men step out. Its obvious that we are about to get our asses kicked

My friend and I split up, running different directions. While I was running my phone fell out of my pocket. I managed to ditch my pursuer but my friend wasn't as lucky. I stick around and wait for him on the street we usually take to get home. After about ten minutes my friend shows up, tears streaming down his face. His lower lip is literally split in half and his face is completely fucked up. We both used to carry knives for self protection (we lived in a dangerous part of Sacramento, California and we have both been stomped before.) He tells me, between sobs, that he had to stab that guy and he was worried that he seriously hurt him.

At this point I become aware of sirens getting closer and I realize its time to fucking MOVE. My friend is hysterical and I damn near have to carry him to get him to start running. We make it to a small side street with two larger streets running parallel on either side. We hide in a bush while rows of police cars speed past us on either side. We can hear a helicopter closing in. We sprint the mile and a half back to my house and somehow don't get caught. At this point cops are everywhere and there are two helicopters, giving both of our descriptions over a loudspeaker.

After awhile we both manage to go to sleep. At 3 in the morning there is a knock on my bedroom door. I open it to find my house is filled with cops and we are immediately put in handcuffs. Outside there are what seems like 20 cop cars and a news helicopter is flying overhead. The police were able to find were I live just from my dropped cellphone. We are taken to juvenile hall and booked into the maximum security wing.

Maximum security is reserved for the most violent of offenders. I was a little white boy (the only white person in my unit) surrounded by buff gang members, some of who have killed before and are awaiting trial to be sent to prison. My first roommate told me I was looking at prison time myself. Being the naïve kid that I was, I believed him. I had just graduated high school and now I was going to prison. You are only let out of your cell for an hour a day of recreation time out in the yard, but I chose to stay in my cell for my own protection. I only left that cell for the one allotted shower a week and to visit with my parents and public defender. I was only in jail for 30 days but the entire time I thought I was going to prison for several years which is one of the worst feelings I've experienced.

The District Attorney dropped all charges against me in order to go after my friend. We both were only locked up for 30 days in juvey but after a long legal process that stretched out for over a year, he was eventually sentenced to a year in county jail. He only served 6 months of his sentence before he was let out due to over crowding.

The guy he stabbed was able to drive himself to the hospital. He had a cut on his arm and a stab wound in his abdomen several inches deep. The man was also a fucking prick. In trial, he lied through his teeth and denied ever touching my friend and also laid on a very emotional sob story about how his life had been ruined, after which he smiled and winked at my friend while his back turned to the judge. I wasn't there when he was stabbed, but I believe my friend that it was in self defense. We were out of line vandalizing, but we were the ones who were attacked by a couple of vigilantes who should have just called the police instead of chasing us down to beat our asses. Those men deserved to go to jail right along side us but instead they were hailed as a hero's and a victims.
