Yep, I grew up just west of Scarborough, Vic Park and Kingston Road area. Scarborough is pretty cool, I like it better than the west end.
I used to love smoking weed down at Bluffer's Park.
I think I'll probably be moving down around Cliffside area in the new year. I miss the Big Smoke.

Cool. I grew up by Highland Creek. I'm no longer in Toronto proper but I'm pretty close by.

British Asians are British citizens of South Asian descent, also known as South Asians in the United Kingdom. In British English usage, the term 'Asi' ually does not include East Asians, North Asians, or Southeast Asians.[5]
Prior to the formation of the United Kingdom, immigration of South Asians to England began with the arrival of the East India Company to the Indian subcontinent. This continued during the British Raj and increased in volume after the independence of India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Bangladesh from British rule, chiefly for education and economic pursuits. A major influx of South Asian immigrants, mostly of Indian and Pakistani origin, also took place following the expulsion of Indian communities (then holders of British passports) from Uganda and other East African nations (see Asians in Africa).

Just admit when you are wrong. You called fucking Egyptians Arabian thats pretty bad and highly offensive and now you are backpedaling like a mofo. If you took those college history classes you are talking about you would know the story of Egypt is a story of foreign domination and control, which they are to this day highly resentful of. I guess i can make it strike home by saying Koreans are really Japanese since Japan dominated Korea for a long time.
How the fuck was I wrong? I provided sources and evidence PROVING YOU WRONG, but apparently.you're so thick headed you can't see that.
Where did I call egyptians asian? Find me an exact quote where I said that.
And btw I do have a degree in political studies, I also took black studies and middle east history. You are completely out of your league arguing with me.

Atleast i know the differences between race, ethnicity, and continents.
EVERBODY DOES.
Quote:
Never once in my life have i heard someone refer to a group of middle easterners as asians
So your logic is, if YOU PERSONALLY have never heard of it, it must not exist. BRILLIANT.
It doesn't surprise me you've never heard of it, you're probably a typical american whose never left his country

Lots of cool parks out that way. I used to like bombing down into the valley on Ellesmere on my motorbike. Twyn Rivers is fun, too.

It's the expanded metal bridge at the bottom. If you hit it going really fast, it makes the bike get all squirrely and it feels like you're going to end up in the river. It's only wide enough for one car too, so if somebody's coming the other way, you have to get hard on the brakes, and it feels like you're going into the river too

Yeah that seems like it would be sketchy on a bike. Another cool spot by there is the old landfill site, pretty good view from the top.

What are you talking about, up until the 1980's even scientific literature used these terms. It is actually still used depending on the field of study.
The only reason they don't use these terms AS OFTEN anymore is because they identify more races now and have changed some of the terms. (e.g. in statistical surveys "Mongoloid" was changed to "Asian," "Negroid" was changed to "Negro" or "black," and "Caucasoid" was changed to "Caucasian" or "white," then there was an introduction of "Hispanic" and "white Hispanic" and "black Hispanic," even though "Hispanic" is technically not a race).
The term "Caucasian" and "Negro" came about from Caucasoid and Negroid. I am simply using the "old school" terminology to define races. I fail to see how this is at all inaccurate.
The black studies teacher however, DID share his opinions about how calling somebody "African-American" is actually more offensive than using the term "black." Which is why I always use the term black when ascribing to the race.
