Just ate three grams, and saw a mouse run under the stove.

So I just ate three grams of shrooms about an hour ago. I'm washing my hands in the kitchen about to walk back to my computer room, and boom I swear I just saw a mouse run under the fucking stove. Now I've had run ins with these little guys in the past, but this one just seems to keep eluding all my traps. any one have any advice?

The best mouse trap I've ever used is non-lethal, too:
You need a bucket, a coathanger, a plastic water bottle, and some peanut butter.
1 Drill two holes in opposite sides of the bucket, and one in the bottom of the bottle.
2 Straighten the coathanger, and thread it through one hole in the bucket, straight through the bottle from bottom to the neck, and out the other side of the bucket. The bottle should spin on the hanger.
3 Spread some peanut butter on the bottle.
4 Make a ramp with a board or something so that the mouse can climb up onto the bottle.
The mouse will climb up onto the bottle to get the PB, and the bottle will rotate and drop his furry little ass down into the bucket.
Have a fun trip!

No fear, there's always room to turn it around! Got any fave intelligent shows? Maybe you could go for a walk out at a nearby park or natural setting? Call up a chill friend to accompany you? You just need some good vibes that's all!!

I believe catching the mouse is irrelevant. Is it worth the energy to even worry about it right now? I mean unless it is getting into your weed bag or threatening to colonize under your appliances, I wouldn't waste my time while I was trippin. Just saying...

So I took this guys advice. I walked outside (keep in mind I live out in the country in the middle of nowhere) it was super fucking dark and cold, I guess it was cloudy and I couldn't see anything. So I decided to walk down the hill to the mailbox just to check it. As I'm walking everything is getting darker. When I get to the box to check it, I'm on an old country road covered with trees on all sides and branching over the road. The trees literally make a tunnel down the road on both sides for miles. Anyway I was standing there looking down the road, and this road looks fucking dark and terrifying. So I start to walk back to the house, when I finally make it back inside I'm so fucking relieved and I say to myself "no wonder that fucking mouse is inside here, its fucking terrifying outside." Anyway I guess I do feel a little better! But only because I'm back inside.

Hahaha thanks for sharing your story man, enjoyed that It's been a while since I've tripped myself and just knowing you're there is getting me a bit closer to that headspace. In my memory it's still a very healthy headspace, a bit strict at times, not without a wicked sense of humor, and alive and crazy as all hell. But healthy
Anyways what a trip, that tunnel. Totally jealous of where you live, too. Lots more opportunities it sounds like

Yeah sometimes I take day trips and walk down the country road. I live out in the middle of nowhere in the deep south. it has its advantages and disadvantages. some of the advantages like being very scenic and secluded also bring disadvantages like bugs and mice...

It'd be a trip for you I'm guessing. Def more materialistic, it depends on the city too obv, but for the most part it's people getting along to live a comfortable 9-5 for more of the same! You'd miss home in a heartbeat.

I caught a mouse while I was tripping once. I played with him for about an hour, then released him far from my house. Also once while tripping, I pushed over a rotten tree that happened to contain a mouse nest. About ten of the buggers scattered and I tried my hardest to catch them, but it was too dark and they were too fast. It still gave me the giggles.

Get a cat. They kill EVERYTHING.

I couldn't kill something while tripping. It's hard enough sober.
I release any insect I find, even cockroaches, outside.
Only thing I really kill is mosquitoes that land on me.
And tiny microorganisms as a result of my natural movements

Killing in the name of the circle of life I think is different though. It shouldn't even be considered killing; it should be considered a way of life and a healthy commentary on our flourishing ecosystems full of useful and diverse fauna.. Either way, here is the snake ladies and gents -

I used to have snakes and spiders
and also mice, rats and birds
I prefer mice, rats and birds :-) especially birds, the only problem is they are so noisy, they can get very tame but so can a rat, it would take its food and run inside my computer all the time, like a dog with a ball in its mouth, ran as fast as it could across the table towards its hiding place, then it went into the computer I had on the table each time ;-P
my birds surprised me a bit too, they would fly out in the entrance, sit on the door to the bathroom, look curiously out there then keep flying up against the mirror in the bathroom
weird stuff happens when you trip they did it over and over again
but they are very clever too, they recognize people and objects from far away they dont like strangers, but they come crawling up my arms onto my shoulder

Not really. I live in the country as well and if you find where the mouse is gaining entrance you can plug the hole. You should be concerned about that anyway because you're probably losing heating/cooling as well through it. You can use a humane trap and release the little fucker outside somewhere with minimal effort if you really want to.

You should be concerned about that anyway because you're probably losing heating/cooling as well through it. You can use a humane trap and release the little fucker outside somewhere with minimal effort if you really want to.
The only problem with this is that mice can fit through a hole the size of a dime. I didn't have time to find and plug it last night before I released him. My gf would have freaked out if I had a field mouse alive in the mouse when she came home.

It shouldn't even be considered killing; it should be considered a way of life and a healthy commentary on our flourishing ecosystems full of useful and diverse fauna.. Agreed, I have killed several snakes and used the skin for decoration as well as eating the meat and liver (tastiest part of a snake).
That's a badass pet snake by the way
