For anyone still wondering. I caught the mouse. And I killed him. I know it sounds mean, but I live in the country. If i let him go outside he would have just came back in.

Yeah I will admit. It was one of the harder things I've done. But I had to execute the little guy.. Didn't really have a choice.

It'd be a trip for you I'm guessing. Def more materialistic, it depends on the city too obv, but for the most part it's people getting along to live a comfortable 9-5 for more of the same! You'd miss home in a heartbeat.

I caught a mouse while I was tripping once. I played with him for about an hour, then released him far from my house. Also once while tripping, I pushed over a rotten tree that happened to contain a mouse nest. About ten of the buggers scattered and I tried my hardest to catch them, but it was too dark and they were too fast. It still gave me the giggles.

Get a cat. They kill EVERYTHING.
You will never have another bug or rodent in your home again.

I couldn't kill something while tripping. It's hard enough sober.
I release any insect I find, even cockroaches, outside.
Only thing I really kill is mosquitoes that land on me.
And tiny microorganisms as a result of my natural movements

Killing in the name of the circle of life I think is different though. It shouldn't even be considered killing; it should be considered a way of life and a healthy commentary on our flourishing ecosystems full of useful and diverse fauna.. Either way, here is the snake ladies and gents -

I used to have snakes and spiders
and also mice, rats and birds
I prefer mice, rats and birds :-) especially birds, the only problem is they are so noisy, they can get very tame but so can a rat, it would take its food and run inside my computer all the time, like a dog with a ball in its mouth, ran as fast as it could across the table towards its hiding place, then it went into the computer I had on the table each time ;-P
my birds surprised me a bit too, they would fly out in the entrance, sit on the door to the bathroom, look curiously out there then keep flying up against the mirror in the bathroom
weird stuff happens when you trip they did it over and over again
but they are very clever too, they recognize people and objects from far away they dont like strangers, but they come crawling up my arms onto my shoulder

Not really. I live in the country as well and if you find where the mouse is gaining entrance you can plug the hole. You should be concerned about that anyway because you're probably losing heating/cooling as well through it. You can use a humane trap and release the little fucker outside somewhere with minimal effort if you really want to.

The only problem with this is that mice can fit through a hole the size of a dime. I didn't have time to find and plug it last night before I released him. My gf would have freaked out if I had a field mouse alive in the mouse when she came home.

Agreed, I have killed several snakes and used the skin for decoration as well as eating the meat and liver (tastiest part of a snake).
That's a badass pet snake by the way
