Just and idea. using a drain field for distribution for outdoor grow

The house I'm going to be moving into has a drain field. The water passing through it is literally filled with particles of poo. Would dumping grain spawn into the distribution box or into the septic tank actually work for inoculating your entire backyard? I know some drainage lines are lined with rocks which don't provide any nutrients for the mycelium to grow. Maybe instead of grain spawn use a large quantity liquid culture?
Would the all the crap (literally) in the water kill the mycelium? Too much bacteria?
I know I won't have any results for a long long time. But I'm going to make a few quarts of LC and pour it into the distribution box and who knows. Maybe in 4 years some shrooms will pop up.
For those of you wondering yes I am totally serious, I'm not trying to troll. I was just thinking up ideas for making large outdoor beds and this occurred to me.

My guess would be yes. While I can't imagine human waste to be good for mushrooms, if you insist on testing this, I would suggest burying spawn in the field.

I've seen the following on several extension service's web sites:
Quote:
Growing Vegetables Over a Septic Drain Field
Although the drain field may seem to be the ideal place to have a vegetable garden, it is not recommended. Even though different soil types differ in their ability to filter contaminants out of the effluent, there is no way to be absolutely sure that everything is being filtered out. Therefore it is not recommended to plant vegetables in a septic drain field because of the health risks associated with bacterial contamination. Also, vegetable gardening requires frequent cultivation of the soil, supplemental watering and fertilization. None of these practices are recommended for a drain field. Using a raised bed is also not recommended. The additional soil over the drain field reduces the effectiveness of the system to filter the effluent because it interferes with evaporation of soil moisture.
In other words, don't shit where you eat.
