This might sound weird

While on LSD, I often like to squint my eyes while coming down to try and produce more visuals. I then open my eyes and have crazy open eye visuals, almost like I'm in another world. Does anyone else do this or is there a term for it? I've just never seen anyone talk about it, seemed weird.

Yeah, I used to do it, ever stare kind of past yourself in the mirror, or just look into your eyeballs in the mirror and your image fades away and you just start seeing crazy ass shit, it's pretty wild, also very hard to do while peeking! Or put your face against the mirror and run warm water on your hands feels awesome and your eyes kind of merge into like one third eye on your forehead anything with a mirror is pretty wild, also hard to do! Know when I say hard to do what I mean by that is, if you have ever looked in a mirror while tripping you probably know what I mean, hard as in you start seeing very strange things, sometimes it gets pretty spooky, most of the people I have ever tripped with won't even look into a mirror, for some reason it's almost like the mirror is a different realm!

To play with CEV while you're tripping, put your hand over your eyes and lightly press down on your eyelids.
Don't hurt yourself.

I can definitely relate to that third eye feeling when it happens

Do you mean scrunch your eyes up tightly? Pressure on eyes (pushing or scrunching them shut) generates phosphenes. The pressure stimulates the cells in your retina, so your brain thinks you're seeing light. I've played with this before, and it can ramp up visuals for a while - I'm guessing the phosphenes act as seeds for visuals to build around.

I squint my eyes during the peak of my trip. My eyelashes are really long and they really bug me out when i am tripping. Love doing it and glad to see someone else who does it.

I don't ever really squint, but I wear glasses daily. My vision is eternally fucked: One eye farsighted, the other eye incredibly nearsighted. I once took my glasses off to clean them while tripping on LSD, and I was shocked to see that my visuals were being ramped up... but they were all fuzzy. I was tripping harder, but my visuals and surroundings were unrecognizably blurry. I could tell there was weird shit going on through the blurriness, though...

What really blows my mind is when people are blind and they see stuff. I got a buddy of mine who is actually blind. We did mushrooms one time and the things he saw he said blew his mind.

That's amazing!! I've heard of people with colorblindness taking LSD or mushrooms and seeing colors, but I've never heard any stories of anyone blind taking psychedelics. I'm fascinated as to why that happens!

Out of curiosity, were they blind since birth or did they lose their sight after seeing for a while?
I've read some OBE reports from blind people and they experienced what sounded like being able to feel in all directions at once - like a 3D sensory map of the locale they were in.

It's more of a squint than scrunching. I've scrunched my eyes up to produce more visuals before but this is different. I think because while I'm squinting my eyes, everything is a lot darker which leaves room for my mind to "guess" what's there? Sorry if it doesn't make sense, I'm not the best at describing things.
It's just amazing to get full open eye visuals like that on a low-moderate dose, even if they are a little fuzzy. Sometimes closing one eye makes me trip a lot harder.
