Part of my Question I think I have answered. Would %100 potassium hydroxide drain cleaner work the same if diluted down to %3 with distilled water?

Found this about beet juice. I thought it interesting. The beetroot juice as a bacterial growth and maintenance medium for many pathogenic bacteria. If the extraction was done with alcohol I believe it would inhibit bacterial growth an penetrate cellular tissue more readily. I just wounder how clean it would look under a scope.

It looks like it could be used as an agar nutrient supplement too.

I'll probably give it a try one of these days, if I don't find the answer online.

Ya, It would probably look less like I was talking to myself. I'll keep that in mind for future posts.

I don't know of anyone who's experimented. Try it and find out. Just read the MSDS and take the necessary safety precautions at all steps.
