yet another SGFC humidity question (pics included)

Hey everyone, so yesterday after dunking and rolling my cakes i put them in my 2 sgfc's to fruit. So far i have done everything exactly to the specs of the pf tek method and my sgfc's each have 4 inches of perlite that i soaked in a strainer and put in the chambers. 1/4 inch holes drilled every 2 inches on all 6 sides and all that good stuff.
The only issue im really having is i cant tell if my sgfc's are getting the humidity they need. I figured that since the pf tek method was followed, I would not need hygrometers. Though after putting my cakes in and looking at the terarium i felt as though it was not humid enough. my local cigar shop didnt have any hygrometers so i got a few cheap ones from the pet store (i know they are crap and arent trustworthy) but I got them mainly just because i wanted to make sure i was even in the ballpark for proper humidity. with spraying and misting, the hygrometers will range from the 80-100% area, but i feel as though i am spraying and misting much more than what would usually be needed to keep my humidity up.
Here are some pics of my setup, this is my first grow so i dont have any first hand experience at being able to tell whether or not it is humid enough just by looking at it. So i figured some of you more experienced shroomers would be able to help with this one!
Also, how exactly should i be spraying my terrariums? So far i have been giving them both pretty liberal sprays a few feet above them and then spraying the walls in the thought that this would drip down into the perlite, making the perlite wet and then causing evaporation. After spraying i usually take a paper plate and get closer than i was when spraying and fan the cakes and sgfc.
Any advice on whether i should be doing something different?
Should i cover some holes up? adjust lighting, or anything else?? Very open to all your suggestions would just appreciate some advice or re assurance!!
THanks everyone!!
Oh and i sprayed and fanned my terrariums about 45 mins before taking these pics just in case that was relevant

your golden bro! just keep it up as long as your misting the glisten you get after a mist gives you 100% rh on the surface of your cakes where it matters most, once that glisten starts to go away mist again

I used to mist and fan my cakes on some kinda of schedule, the trick is not to overdo it or your cakes will be too wet and not evaporating any water (which causes pins to form). Spray directly at the cakes a good 5-10 times with as fine of mist as you can until the cakes glisten like said above.
Mist 3-4 times a day, fan 5-6 times a day, and most importantly be patient! =)
Dont worry too much about humidity or hygrometers, the sgfc will take care of itself if you keep a nice mist/fan schedule and your perlite is wet. A couple weeks in check your perlite with your hand to see if you need to restrain it to add water.

Grab some of the perlite in your hand, it'll feel crunchy and light (without enough water) If it's just on top that it's not wet enough you can remove your cakes onto a cookie sheet and mist the heck out of it, if your perlite is thoroughly dry take it out and restrain some water through it. (=

felt the perlite and i could feel some moisture and alot of it did stick to my hand which im guessing indicates moisture but for good measure i took my cakes out and dumped a fair ammount of water from my spray bottle in it and mixed it around with my hands. (much easier than re straining since my sink is downstairs and my terrariums are upstairs).

Dumping into the perlite is not something I would recommend. I read a thread somewhere around here that talked about how the perlite can clump if you do this inside the chamber, since the small rocks can wedge into the holes and block straining. Before you let that chamber sit, make sure this isn't happening. You do NOT want water to pool at the bottom.

yeah i really worked the perlite around with my hands from top to bottom after dumping it in, it wasnt like a gallon of water or anything, maybe 15-20 ounces.
