I have had this post in the contam section for 24hrs now and only one response, Here I will beak it down to you. I have 12 jars of BRF and verm, they are now today 100% colonized but the bottom of the jar is showing signs of this wet spot, Bacillus I presume. Should I force them tonight????If so what is the best way?????? Will the mycellium fight off this nasty shit, no smell though through holes. Help please I know this is a contam forum ? but nobody goes in there so I will erase my post there. k thanks for the help

Does this "wet spot" almost look oily ?
If yes , you should file accordingly ... IN THE TRASH !
You could attempt surgical dissection , use a very sterile knife and cut away into good clean area the infected section , very risky .
You may not smell it cause it is trapped in bottom of jar , and not all nasties give off odor right away .
FILE THEM ! IMHO

I can't figue out the whole picture thing sorry peoples. Please go to the contam forum and look at the topic "I think my firs time is a failure" look at his pictures I t looks like that but only very slightly on the bottom only. sorry I know this it is hard to help without the pict.

If you are worried about it birth the cakes and remove the wet spot. Then give it a light spray with water and a bit of H2O2. Then case with verm. This will help keep contam. down.

I think casing is alittle bit advanced for me this is my first try. But maybe on a few. Learn by experience only right?

Putting a casing layer on a substrate is not an "advanced" technique .
Yes one more dimention , thus more chance for contam , but hell you may already be there .
Trial and error... no better way to gain true experience !

man post a picture sometimes the bottom of the jar is too wet to colonize that ain't that bad post a picture!!!
