My brother had  a pet black widow that passed recently.
RIP Shiva, your memory will live on in the syringe that contains the poison we extracted from your shriveled carcass. You will come in great use one day when said poison wreaks havoc and rains all hell on our worst of enemies.

I think I would like to get him a new insect pet, I definitely dont have the balls to go looking in wood piles for a black widow haha.

Yeah it would be a great gift to give him.
First a black widow, now a recluse.

Those bites are so fucking narly.

It was so sketch feeding that widow and it got so fucking big, like the size of a quarter.

Without spiders my friend..... insects could have evolved into much scarier things which luckily don't exist today.

It eats thru it. Luckily I don't live in africa and if I did, I have long hair so the botfly larvae would be pretty confused.

For all you bald guys, you would have to hope that if a fly lays an egg on you it's anywhere but your head.

I have about half a dozen of those kind of rugs, all different colours.

They're pretty neat. I like yours.

This thread reminds me of that episode of Frasier when a cricket got loose in the apartment and he sat in the kitchen all day with a gecko harnessed on a string of dental floss to catch the cricket.

Depending on where you live it's likely that there is already a praying mantis revolution in your town every summer.

I should have brought the mantises that chilled in my outdoor garden this season into my indoor garden. There was one with broken wings that I feel bad about leaving outside. Ladybugs and spiders seem to work for keeping the pests out at least.
