Recently, I've had a lot of dreams about eating at Chinese restaurants in really random places. Sometimes at airports or malls. This one dream I had twice, I was eating in a Chinese place at a airport that was all yellow, and it was raining. This past summer, I had a lot of dreams about taking LSD

Very true, any words in a dream are just gibberish to begin with. Although I've only been awakened with that method twice within a dream, the rest have just been from simply realizing how fucked things are in them compared to reality lol. That tends to happen quite fast, especially when things start randomly dematerializing. That's a pretty good indicator of something being awry lol.

I'd love to be able to do it all the time. The first time i flew was in my first lucid dream. I was doing stupid shit to people, i blew raspberrys at someone and shot up into the air. It freaked me out.

I've got used to it since then, i had a dream once where people were shooting at me and got up so high i could see the bullets slow down.

I can fly away from danger, and i can do mad parkour, jumping over buildings.

Sometimes i have dreams where i feel sluggish and i can't move properly at all, i have to drag myself along, i hate those.

Hah! Classic. I did the same when I first accomplished one. Flew right the fuck out of earth at light speed and woke up damn near shittin my britches lol!

teeth falling out
being back in school except it's a giant mash up of every school I've ever been to all in one
seeing/talking and reconnecting with ex girlfriends
there's also this place that I regularly go to in my dreams, incredibly hard to explain but anytime I go there I remember having been there before. It's like a giant world under the earth that water is always continuously flowing through and the craziest things happen while I'm there.

The other dream thread got me thinking about this. I used to write down my dreams and this helped me notice patterns and themes that happen again and again. Mine seem to be, off the top of my head:

Public restrooms/lockerrooms
Parking garages
Being chased
Shopping malls
Being at a completely foreign college campus

What kinds of things pop up in your dreams time and time again?

proper thread.

Unfortunately i cant contribute as my dreams have been entirely spurradic in nature over the last several years due to chronic mxe abuse.

it's cool that you have the insight to do that. mostly you just have to kinda "define a marker" for ones self to consistently recognize as "the shouldn't be this way in reality", and then bang, you have no other choice but to realize... but one may just wake up at that point (especially if things are just batshit insane) but if you train ones self, you can train to recognize without "shocking yourself" (so to speak) awake.

enough practice, you can just do it whenever you want. :yesnod:

Oh yes it's a great ability to achieve, really makes going to sleep that much better. I've definitely shocked myself awake quite a lot of times, although now I can usually keep calm depending on the situation lol. If I'm attempting to smoke DMT in a dream however... That's a different story, i can never make it past the first toke. always wake up sweating at that point hahahaha.

Bro the only thing I ever cared about in life was watching ducks fuck. I mean what else is there that could possibly be worth my time and energy? Swan sex? Thats not nearly as kinky as it could be and parakeets pounding it doesn't even close to where it should be on an erotic level. For me, ducks do the dirty deeds better than any flying mammal that it can think of.
