i think what mikey meant was san pedro [Trichocereus pachanoi] or peruvian torch [Trichocereus peruvianus] are leagal, easy to grow and cheap.
Also; Bouncing Bear Botanicals is a good vendor.

/me thinks miky was stoned...

you could probably request a catalog. just send a letter asking if they have one and if so they'll sen it or tell you how much it costs [some mailorder vendors are forced to ask a small fee for thier catalogs to cover printing and shipment and such].

Check out Bob Smoley's Garden World. He has pretty good prices on san pedro.

I got the two big ones on the outsides of the bottom row from him. They were advertised as "Large two to three column clumps 15-20 inches tall of this popular "San Pedro Cactus", limited." The ones in the picture are about 8" - 10" larger than when I got them.

I forgot to say that I got them for $25 each

I keep it cold in my house and when I took the camera outside to take the picture the lens fogged up. I didn't notice until I had already put the camera away and sat down to upload the pics. I didn't even look at them when I moved the pictures from the camera to the PC. Sorry that it is blurry.
