Impulsive friends
    #19261941 - 12/11/13 06:47 PM (10 years, 2 months ago)

So I'm sure we all have that one impulsive, reckless, and/or self destructive friend. Describe yours

Mine gives little to no thought on seemingly everything he does, wether it be taking acid at stupid times, trying to hook up with his friends girl then blaming being drunk for the reason, or doing whatever drug comes his way... It all happens quite regularly. I've talked to him about it to no avail. IMO he needs a good ego death but who really knows lol

it's chill to be his friend, but I wouldn't recommend being around him when your tripping BALLS.

It's all fun and games until your greeting the earth mother and your friend is doing banana hammock bungie jumps..

Yup I have made that mistake already, it was fun and all but I felt like i was babysitting him most of the time. He fuckin snorted Xanax at one point that his crazy fucking friend had literally the day after he spent 9 hours blacked out from that stupid shit. I mean really.
In any case yea he is not getting anymore psychedelics from me. To put it in perspective he takes drugs to get high, not to get insight in any sort of way, I know if he keeps taking them he'll have a terrible trip due to his lack of interest to change and be turned off from them forever. Looking back I should not have given him lucy, he does not yet deserve her.

Well if he was anyone else he'd be dropped just like that. However this is the guy that helped me through the very worst part of my life, as I did to him. He's a friend for life, albeit not the smartest - I don't know where I'd be mentally or physically without him.

Curt...you can always remeber your friend for what they did for you...

however, if you remain friends with this person your opinion may change...i'd suggest going separate ways and holding onto what you had with them instead of having it all change on you with a new slew of well...not cool stuff...to remeber him by

...time is a mother fucker...

That's very true, and I can say I'm planning to do that. Until then I have one more semester of being around him(sort of, he's in military school go figure) and after this it'll be a very long time till I see him again.
I appreciate the advice, hopefully he'll learn and mature but only time will tell and I'm not expecting anything.

He might be prone to excited actions? He may talk a bit too fast? He might go to a party & then leave half way through & disappear? He may go to a party & then decide before he enters the house to go to a different one? He may hold a million parties then one day decide against ever opening another one? May close down all future parties before they even get spoken about? Well I know a fella came back from Europe & was telling me more about his dog, he went on at length about his dog distinctly runnig out of the house & escaping his notice one day. Something about running out of the house for a message for the butcher? He went in a hurry but I saw he left behind a note he was supposed to give to my daughter earlier, I don't know why he would have left that behind but I grabbed it and waited in anticipation for the moment he came back. I was hoping he would get back soon so he can give the note to my daughter, I really don't know how I'd go on knowing my daughter never received her here message now could I?

Ah yes the two safest drugs, how heroic. At least he's not on meth because then he'd have even more time to feed his addiction right. I gotta say tho that's one deep hole he's dug for himself. I hope he gets better soon man

My uncle used to do that but not any longer. He used to be one of the most famous artists in history & was awarded with a prize for having the greatest singing voice ever heard before. They stated that he would never be surpassed in such excellence ever again. They estimated that perhaps in 30 years someone would step up to the plate & knock him from his high rank, but on account of them missing the train to Poland last Summer, might not see that coming for some time. For we may need to go to the dog pond to see why we have had ours handed to us in platefuls. We might need to change it so that instead of you running around like a bum that we fix you up in something nice, for you may wish to switch your shirt for one that is far more luxiorious such as the one I was sent last summer by Mummy. Wasn't that just so kind of her too? I didn't think she'd give me one so lord knows when it came how surprised I was.
