nomadbrad said: Advice taken, I was hoping to be more picky with the isolate because this is the only set of plates that I have going from spores. The rest were just transfers. But I'm less interested in spending time thinking I'm a scientist and more interested in getting this species out. I'm glad I haven't wasted my time too much, I'm glad you said something!
My cultures are so dope !! I cant wait to get these on grain next week, the one label P species must be very active, the myc bruises a deep blue when injured! But both species are very rhizo and fast growing. The kind of myc you can just tell will rip through grains and chips! Very different experience from the strain from Greece.
So I finally found the original post where my babies came from. So here you have it,the very first observation of wild P serbica var bohemica from Greece. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/11589768

I thought they were different the whole time. I had like 50 other azurescens to compare, but these ones definitely looked unique so its not your fault. Did you ever compare to allenii?

yes and no, i think for macromorphology, it matches azzie better, though dna would give the best idea.
