This thread . I'm not gonna get into it but I completely disagree and I, like the others here, find your reasoning pretty absurd.

As for the topic though, in my opinion, the reason asians excel at math and science while the west lags is because asian culture values and admires exceptionalism. In modern US culture, we tend to demonize those better than ourselves due to jealousy/insecurity. Im sure you've felt it or seen it in those around you. When someone is better off in some way we hold a sort of disdain or animosity towards them.

Their priorities are just different (and probably more healthy) than ours. Their top students are revered by his/her peers. Our top students are just loser nerds.

Disclaimer: this is just a broad generalization, looking at cultural tendencies i've observed. By no means do I mean to imply that this mentality is universal.

I liked it OP do you study anthropology? Epigenetic traits can be passed down I believe there is some credibility to your thread. I'd like to see some more info on it.

Well, for those who are willing to believe that what I wrote might just be true after all, you should read the following:

For the math point: The Number Sense: How the Mind Create Mathematics, by Stanilase Dehaene, Oxford University

For the farming aspect of European peasants: The Agrarian History of Western Europe, by B.H Slitcher and Antoine Lavoisier

For the math point: Predictors of National Differences in Mathematics and Science Acheivements of Eighth Grade Students: Data from the TIMSS for the Six NationEducational Research Programs, by Erling E. Boe, Henry May, Gena Barkanic and Robert F Beruch, University of Pennsylvania

More on rice: The Rice Economics: Technology and Development of Asian Societies, by Francesca Bray, University of California.

Like I said, I didn't pull this out of my ass. I'm not claiming to be 100% right. But I am most definitely right based on many studies. I read stuff, more than just fiction. Occasionally you learn stuff. I just tried to give you guys a summary so you don't have to read all the studies and books I listed above.

I can't think of a pre-colonial point in history where a significant amount of caucasians were dependant on raiding and stealing from non-caucasians.

Well yeah, I guess that was probably before people took race so seriously, but the general trend was raiding parties come from the less hospitable north.  Medeterainian countries for example are gonna be heavily mixed race-wise even though we think of them as white.

Its just an idea.  I think it is stupid and confusing to try and make broad generalizations about people based on black and white, and thats not what I'm trying to do.  I'm just bored I guess, same as OP.

Sure. They were also dairy farmers. Most people weren't pirates, but if you live in the anglosphere I guess you learn history from an english perspective and only see them as raiders.

All this is kind of beside the point though, as moonrocks argued that caucasians as a group were good at being efficient colonizers because of their history of believing in might-makes-right and their plundering tradition. I'm wondering when in history the spanish, portuguese and english were famous for their stealing.

How do you explain their shitty driving skills?

Only old Asian people suck at driving (ever notice young kids such as ricers have skillers?). It's because the older ones are immigrants and immigrants don't know how to drive, and Asians have terrible peripheral vision once they get old.

You might like this vid OP. I found it convincing. It would be my solution to fixing our numbering system.

I completely understand that none of you want to read this. Most people wouldn't either. Hence my summary

Really, being smart and innovative enough to develop weapons and war plans is not admirable?  It was conquer or be conquered, only the strong survive, maybe you just hate white culture, history, and people.

"lack of melanin evolved due to certain nutritional deficits."

Source?

Yes.  I hate the idea of white culture because I think the idea is racist from the start.  I am no more culturally connected to someone based on their skin tone.  I hate reckless imperialism and the fact that racism continues to be used to justify it.

Melanin is synthesized by amino acids (tyrosine).  I don't think anybody knows but it has been theorized that conserving amino acids in lean times is a reason behind the evolution of white skin.  I'm not going to dig up a source but I read it in a Nat'l Geographic or science mag.

It doesn't work, I'll need the link, but before, is it about base 12 math by any chance? If so, don't bother posting the link, I saw it.
