OK so I knocked up these brf tek style but I used wbr instead of brf because I couldn't find brf where I live. Cooked the rice as if it were being prepared to eat. I washed it off and strained the water out. Then mixed it up using the brf tek method only halfing the called for water about. Here are pics of my jars.
They're in order from beat growth to worse. (Left to right)

They're kept in a shoebox that I have a temp gage in that read around 68-70 always. They're b+ and they were knocked up on 11-25-13. The pic were taken today. Can anyone tel me why its so slow or even if this is a normal rate. This is my first time. Thanks

there's your problem. You're supposed to grind the rice into flour to replace the brf. I'm sure all your h2o ratios are way off now.

a good substitute for brown rice flour is wild bird seed flour its alot cheaper.. just buy a bag of wbs grind it up into flour and use it with the same ratios you would use brf. i soak mine in coffee for 12 hours before grinding it up...
FIXED OP'S PICS.

I knew I was taking a chance because I couldn't find brf and I tried to grind the rice but didn't work out well so I cooked it and added verm. I ordered a hydroshroom kit from univerisity scientific/spore store.com. knock up the 6 jars and all were contained with a bacterial infection I had nothing to do with I think the syringe was contained that's why I have no growth in the last 2 jars (same syringe). Wasted $140 on the shit and they contained it.

i don't see any growth just the rice grains. Eventually bacteria will grow if the mycelium doesn't colonize it first. Sterilization isn't "complete" and eventually a bacteria will find a way. We sterilize to provide a window for the mycelium to colonize the substrate. The same is true even for grains that get pressure cooked at 15 psi(250F) for 90M it's effectively sterile for our purposes.

grow kits are always a bad idea. For 140$ you could have got a 10$ spore syringe and spent 40 or less getting started even having to order shit you cant find off the internet and you would have had 90$ left over. It pays to do your research before spending your money, this hobby can be cheap and it's always easy if you are mindful. All the info you would ever need is here a search away. Watch let's grow mushrooms, check out the first link in my signature too.

In case you are wondering how to fix your photobucket pictures for future reference after you have selected the image in your album you need to copy the image URL, not the album page URL. you can do this by right clicking the picture itself and opening it in it's own separate window/tab, or in many cases there is an option to directly copy the image URL.

it could be but wet cooked rice is super sticky and starchy so I wouldn't be surprised if it just looks like mycelium. I thought it might be growth at first too then I though well why in the hell would mycelium be growing from every rice grain if it was inoculated with a syringe from distinct spot. Growth should grow out radially not spontaneously from every rice grain.

idk man one of my bags did that, on the third day there was 4 grains starting to colonize a good bit away from each other. but he should still make some more jars just incase.

That definitely mycelium growth not "white fuzz" if u look at the bottom of the jars there's growth on the spots where there's nothing but verm. But I definitely will do more jars. But what is a good sponsor to buy from? I want syringes and I live in the US so im looking for a sponsor inside the US to avoid my package going through customs so I'm looking for a new reliable sponsor considering spore store sent me contained syringes. Thanks in advance

Any vendor that's listed on here will be fine, my first successful order was with one on here.
