Grain Spawn. Comparing Prices/Effecctiveness

Question for you brothers/sisters.
What would you consider the best AVENUE?
35$ - 50lb bag of millet 20$ - 100lb bag of winter wheat 28$ - 25lb bag of rye berries
I am looking for cheap, but wouldn't mind paying extra for rye if it really makes a difference in yield that is worth investing in.
Rye berries I need to have shipped, the other two I can score at my feedmill.
I been using just straight white millet for a while now but as it has raised so much in price (went from 16$ to 35$ per 50lb bag) that I am considering just investing the extra dollars in Rye. As it stands I am paying 70cents a pound for the white millet and could pay $1.12 per lb for rye + shipping. Wheat is 20 cents a pound but I have heard is not comparable to Rye. Would it still contain more N than Millet?
I know many of you will recommend Rye including many of the TCs.....
I just want your input as I am at the end of my grain supply and it is that time.
Frank Horrington I summon you

RGS would be choice, second WBR.
spend efforts eliminating contams, and all seed becomes cheap.

Not RGS. Rye Berries.
I could try RGS but only really thought of using it for sclerotia producers

I am looking for the highest Nitrogen to cost/efficiency ratio percentage.
Example: If Wheat is higher in N than Millet, but less then Rye Berries, I would choose Wheat as it is of medium N content and cheapest of all options.
catch my drift here?

see the v-tek, and use the fert mods. 20-20-20.............
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/18135103
i no longer do ratings. pros gave me plus 5, posers a minus 5. since posers way out number pros, its was pointless and innaccurate. i suggest everyone opt out of ratings.

Interesting but
"Unless it's 3-5x as expensive for you compared to other grains, you're still wasting your money on those other grains for such a use."
Here is the problem lol its still expensive
and by this mode of thinking, I should get the 20cents a pound wheat instead of RGS

I never did a comparison grow as it was determined that each would perform similarly.
I always do agar wedge -> Rye berries in qrt jars -> either more Rye jars or RGS jars -> RGS spawn bags
I like RGS because you get so much of it for the price, and theres tons of innoc points. I use Rye berries because they're easiest to G2G in jars for expansion, and I've used them for years so prep is super easy for me.
I doubt the grain will perform differently enough to warrant using one over the other, minus such factors as easiness of prep, innoc points, price, etc.

or , ya could use fert RGS, get the performance and crop....... good handling, will offset contams.
fact is, many options and angles. dont let the syringe, corn, and bucket gang, box ya in.
make decisions, based on grow capability, not cost.

Rye is far superior for reasons of N content alone giving larger yield.
I'm not so worried about the prep of it as I am the price and efficiency/N content.
Anne, I am gonna have to say that the RGS doesn't look like what I want to do here. Thanks for trying though
and it is a great writeup by violet

some grow by price, some grow for capability and performance.
i go for the high quality , power crop, food and bio safe.
IMO, fert RGS, or fert WBR , meets my performance needs.
